CLEAN TITLE-OBO I’m selling my 2008 Saturn Astra XR. This was my high school car and has been super reliable. It’s a 4-door hatchback with 138,352 miles on it and is extremely clean. It runs and drives, and would make a great first car, high school car, or an easy DIY project. The heat works great (perfect for Minnesota winters). There are no major dents — just some typical cosmetic scuffs from age and use. The body is in perfect shape. There are a few things to be aware of. The engine and traction control lights are on because the exhaust is blown, and a bent control arm. The bent control arm is because of a recent run in with a curb. I got a quote and they said it would be $700. It would be much cheaper if you know your way around cars. The A/C isn’t working, but the heat makes up for it during the winter! I’m not trying to hide anything — just looking to pass it on to someone who can fix it up or use it as is.

I bought my Black 2008 Saturn Astra XR about a year and a half ago.... With 74,000 miles!.. I threw some 18 staggered wheels....With that being said... Since then I've gone down hill financially... And as a result... I haven't been able to keep up the maintenance... And even though I've driven it over 20,000 miles WITHOUT a tune up... NEVER A PROBLEM! Although it's not running it's best... Not the car's fault... LOVE the performance (Although it could use more power) I LOVE MY SATURN XR

Great commuter car!

Super great car but you must have some DIY maintenance skills! My XR 3 door all ready is clocking past 170K miles and still running strong full power. I did several upgrades from Europe: Opel Astra H GTC or Vauxhall Astra MK5 Sport Hatch to make it more suitable to the inclement weather and traffic wild conditions. The only downside is the turtle start but once past 60 MPH it becomes a nuclear turtle. I have the 5 speed manual!

Drives like nothing I've ever driven before and its Gas eco is to kill for, Not only is it great on road but it doesn't suffer when you're in Snow/mud either.
