This is my 2nd XC40 and it is one of the most perfect cars but its by no means cheap. The car can be as loaded as its bigger brother, except for heads up display. They all use the same engines, with the exception of turbo types, and bi-turbo options. All Volvos are moving to mild hybrid as standard and all 2023 XC40's are now mild hybrids. The XC40 is nimble, loaded and well designed. It has just about every feature including all wheel drive, Google auto, panoramic sunroof, power tail gate, and leather seats, redesigned for 2023. It is stylish, detailed and not meant to feel like the entry model. In fact, it can cost more than its bigger brother the XC60! Driving it is a pleasure as it is preppy and confident.

Negotiating a vehicle is the most dreaded part of car buying. I contacted Aldo Ordaz on Monday with the vehicle details and discount request. Aldo accepted the deal and trade value I requested and had my X5 ready for pickup on Wednesday afternoon. I drove up from Houston, completed the paperwork and was in and out in a reasonable time. A trained representative sat in the vehicle and patiently explained all the options and their use to me and my husband. WOW! The technology is amazing! Finance was a breeze and Aldo helped take our family picture with our new X5 before we left. Everyone in this process was happy to help and shared in our new car excitement! A great car. It checked most of the boxes that I had when looking for cars at the time. I ponied up for the Polestar software upgrade and wow did that make a difference. A few reviews had said that the car was underpowered. Not any more. There are some great details and some strange ones too, but overall it's one of my favorite vehicles. Like any car these days, there are a few niggling things that Vovo can't seem to fix. The hood doesn't seem to fit correctly no matter what Vovo did. It "bangs" when you lean against it (cleaning the windscreen, etc) and when the car is jolted (potholes, etc). No amount of work seems to properly address the issue. It's 2.5 years and I've been through a set (2) batteries (main and stop/start). It is now giving me the feeling that the main battery is failing again. The stop/start has not worked consistently since I got the car. Vovo tells me I don't drive it enough to keep the battery charged. Well, I do 5 to 6K a year and if that's not enough they should say so up front. Seems to me that there is something up (or down) with the charging system. Again, I'm impressed.

Days after getting my car, Jorge contacted me to tell me that he found better financing. The fact that he continued to work on my behalf after I was long gone shows the character and work ethic of those employed by Crest Volvo. After only a month, I am truly "in love" with my XC-40. I wanted to get one a few years ago. However, Covid-19 got in the way. When it was finally time to upgrade this year, I did it and have not regretted it. Great ride, all the safety features I wanted, excellent ride and handling , above EPA rated fuel economy, roomy seating. Plenty of room for my golf equipment.

I bought a year old BMW. The price was better than I found at other dealerships. They were prepared to go as slow as I wanted and answer all my questions, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted fast! So after a quick test drive went in and signed the paperwork, while they washed it for me. They let me leave my old car there and drive my new car home. There was a headlight malfunction and they said it was completely covered under warranty. However, because it was a software issue, Carmax said I needed to take it to BMW, but that Carmax would cover any costs. They were true to their word!

Love the tech in this car. Maps, adaptive cruise, auto high beam, lane warning, hybrid averaging 31 mpg. Still good power with the turbo. Excellent sound including the Bluetooth.

Overall, it was a seamless process to purchase a vehicle at Volvo Grubbs and I look forward to bringing my car back for service. Financing was also a quick, but productive and thorough process with Rick (believe that's his name). Just make sure to keep on to the Latte machine in the Infiniti dealership. Huge bonus :)

Our XC40 T5 R-Design was a great purchase. This is our first move into what I consider the Luxury Car market. We test drove and investigated other brands, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and we came back to the Volvo. The I4 Turbo in this vehicle puts out 248 hp, plenty to power this small SUV. The ride is comfortable. Handling is great. The Infotainment system is easy to use, and with the Nav displayed in the center of the LED Instrument cluster it makes navigation easy - no more portable unit falling off the window! 8 way power driver and passenger seats are comfortable and include power lumbar support. Lane Assist feature was a real selling point for my wife - she's pleased. We've had the car for a week now and each time I drive it I am more satisfied that we made the best decision in this class vehicle. Very pleased with our Volvo!

Hated the whole process from the time I received the call til the time I purchased the vehicle. Sales rep Courtenay Royal was pleasant and was only doing his job but there was no way in xxxx I should have been there as long as I was for a cash purchase and there was also no reason for 3 months of bank?s statements should have been requested for a cash purchase and I wasn?t asked for that information until y?all got my cashiers check. Granted i refused to provide that information to y?all bc it wasn?t needed yall just wanted to see if I had the money in the bank as if the cashier check was fake very insulting. 5 stars to the sales rep but not the experience.

I was searching for a new/used car. I used Cars.com to search for a Toyota Highlander. Carmax in Ft. Worth, TX was one of my choices. The car shown online was EXACTLY as shown when I saw it-the pics and details provided about the car were so accurate, there wasn't a need for alot of "wheeling and dealing". I emailed Carmax regarding my interest, late at night. Not only did I receive an email within 1 hour, the next day I received a phone call from Mr. Ben Arbour, the person who would eventually sale me the car. He walked me through their process, got me pre-approved over the phone, so that all that was left to do when I got to the office was to get the trade-in value on the car I was trading, test drive the new car & sign paperwork to purchase. I bought a 2010 Toyota Highlander that was a 1 owner car with approx. 13,700 miles. I recommend Carmax to anyone looking to get another car. They were great!!! The customer service is GREAT!!!

Great commuter car. Adaptive cruise control is better than most. Good mpg. Very attractive. Agile and good is small spaces ( city driving ). Base sound system should have more power.
