This car has met then exceeded my expectations, and then some! It's mind boggling. If you don't like the FJ's design, change it? It has more options than Jeeps these days, and it's appreciating in value!! PEOPLE WANT THEM! Why? Because they rock, they're reliable, easy to work on, can go anywhere, and you can personalize it for what you want or need! If you're in the market look into an FJ, just be prepared to fork over more money than you'd expect and "high miles" are a relative term with these beasts. Think 12-15K miles / year or less for the age, and under means that you're probably getting a steal. Also, KBB is a hard judge, especially if they're completely stock. From commuting, to off roading, river crossing, pulling people out of ditches, and jeeps out of mud holes, this thing can do it all.

I'm a 2nd owner. I really like these fjs. I had a fj 40 back in early 70s and loved it. The fj40 was the toughest 4x4 by far. Im older now and this 2013 fj suits me much better. I love the reminders of the fj 40 with the comforts in the 2013 version. I wouldn't be afraid to take the newer fj to some of my old haunts in the mountains but Im not physically as able as the fj . I like the analog dials and minimal computerization of vehicle functions.

If you're considering an FJ Cruiser: CHECK THE UNDERCARRIAGE! Frame rot is way more common than you think/know. Bought a 2008 2 years ago, still have 2 years payments left - garage informed me it will NEVER pass inspection again, frame is rusted beyond saving. Can't even sell for scrap/parts because the bank still holds the title. Shame, I love this car.

Wolfchase Toyota is it!!! I’ve had so much trouble finding and buying a car over the last half year—I know this is largely due to inventory issues everywhere, however, after dealing with 15+ dealerships over a vast region, most places wouldn’t take ownership of services they are still in control of. They’d treat inventory as the scapegoat for everything, when customer service still matters so much. I’d either be immediately dismissed or forced to make a physical appt to get a simple answer that should have been a virtual delivery. That was until I met Nicole at Wolfchase Toyota—by far the best experience I had after searching in MS, SC, GA, ARK, NC, & TN!! She went above and beyond, being quick to respond and providing upfront, direct answers. I was in a pinch and the full transparency and honesty was such a time-saving gamechanger. After 10 years with my 2007 FJ in Voodoo blue, I decided to finally trade it in for a 2014 FJ Ultimate Edition this past week. I do not regret it one bit. Things I love about the Fj in general; - Incredible resale value (my 2007 was worth about as much after 10 years of owning) - with its 4WD, it turns a bad winter storm into a playground - reliability - unique and classic design - Its as long as a civic and wide as a corvette ******* 2007 Convenience Package 2 vs 2014 TTUE What are the biggest differences to me; - Heritage Blue paint with black accents + white grill - rearview camera - new rearview mirror with homelink - more sun visors - better sound system - different engine with more horsepower and takes regular gas - a bit higher since the TTUE has a raised front end compared to other models - steering is more compliant, almost like its steering radius has been shortened - Rarity - TTUE is only 1 of 2,500 sold I would recommend any model year of the FJ to anyone who is thinking about it.

I asked about a couple vehicles they had listed. Responded to me promptly and followed up. Definitely will look at them when I am ready to buy next week.

Love my 2014 FJ! Observed them on the road like one of Pavlov's dogs. Panicked in January 2015 when I couldn't find one at my local car dealer. Called around Atlanta and found my desired 2014 sand color, 4WD, roof rack, tire cover and bought it on the spot. Last one this North Atlanta dealership had. Whew.

I bought my 07 FJ with 100k miles on it. Great drivetrain, and am looking forward to it performing in the mountains of PA this winter. Already looking for a second one. Only issue, there was strange frame rusting in front and rear but nothing that a few hundred $ couldn't fix. I've talked to people who can't believe that Toyota stopped making these beasts! Hahaha. I'm one of them.

Six speed manual transmission was a required mechanical aspect and this Toyota delivered what most other SUV’s with automatic transmissions cant. Highly recommended for the family off roader

I like the FJ Cruiser because it allows more room in the back seat to get my grand kids in and out of vs. my Jeep Wrangler and also provides plenty of cargo space as well. The 4 wheel drive is also very important to me.

By many standards this is NOT a good car. It has MASSIVE blind spots, questionable gas milage, and offers all the driving discomforts of a jeep wrangler. But what this vehicle has that a jeep wrangler hasn't had in decades is character. What a special little SUV this thing is. It has three windshield wipers, an almost completely waterproof interior, and unique retro styling. I just love the way both the interior and exterior look on this car. But the FJ Cruiser's unique features and characters aren't the only value it brings to the table. It of course demonstrates Toyotas famous reliability. This Car is almost indestructible. It also boasts and amazing off-road capability and ruggedness. Selling my FJ Cruiser was a MASSIVE mistake not only because of how much I miss it but also because they have almost doubled in value since I sold mine. I almost want to write an insanely negative review about the FJ in a feeble attempt to bring its value down so I can buy one again.

My FJ Cruiser is basically a second vehicle to use on the weekends in the mountains, and also an extra 4wd vehicle to have during the winter months. The one I purchased has every mod that I would have done myself. Lift kit, off road tires/rims, aftermarket stereo.

I've owned many vehicles in my life, and the FJ Cruiser has been the most reliable, fun, and off-road capable vehicle amongst them all. Whether, the off-road comes to you: blizzard/snow, rain/floods, or you seek it in forests and trails, the FJ can handle it with ease. The rig is customization ready and the more modifications you do, the more capable the FJ will get. The performance of the FJ blows away rigs that cost 4 or 5 times as much. If you get a chance to buy this hard to find rig, jump on the opportunity, regardless of mileage. It's 4.0L V6, 5-Speed transmission are Toyota's most reliable and is also shared with the 4Runner. The body of the FJ shares a lot of components with the Land Cruiser and is built to last - 100% Japanese made.
