Used Toyota Corolla for sale near Sarasota, FL

My wife and I came to Honda of Sarasota to check out a new Honda Pilot SUV. We were helped by Paul DeMiere shortly after we arrived. Paul brought out the Pilot Elite for us and proceeded to explain everything about this model. He described how the doors, seating and storage worked and could be arranged. He then went through a lengthy explanation on all the controls and infotainment system. Very impressive and helpful! Everyone we met or spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

It is a Corolla so don't expect a Lexus. Many nice features like keyless operation, auto headlights and parking brake. Human Factors design is terrible. The center display has a lot of good information, but in font so small it is distracting to try and read it while driving. When you engage cruise control, a warning in small print legalese appears for several seconds, blanking out your speed and telling you not to take your eyes off the road. Of course if you want to read the warning, you cannot see the road. Other feature that is annoying is the assumption that if anything like a coat or a book are on the back seat, you must have left a small child in the car so it beeps repeatedly when you lock the car and then sends you a text that there is something in the back seat. Oil is 0W-8 so don't expect to do your own oil change as it is not generally available in stores. The ride is comfortable for an economy car and it is reasonably quiet. If you love AndroidAuto, you will like the interface, if you don't like it, well, Toyota does not give you any other option that is easy to use. There are 2 cupholders, a small glovebox, and a very small center console compartment. No other storage. No place for a small box of Kleenex, no place to store sunglasses.

The basic Corolla is a terrific value. The 169 hp non hybrid offers plenty of power and 41 mpg highway. Narrow car fits in my old single car garage. Standard features aplenty satisfy my needs. Safety features a plus. Sportier performance than Car and Driver review gives it credit for. I suggest this lowest price Toyota model is a diamond in the rough. A lot of fun for a modest price.

Leasing this car. Expected to wait a couple of months but received a notification that a car matching my specifications would be available the next week. The car met most of my requirements. The price of the lease was considerably more than I expected to pay but I agreed to the terms. Two months after taking possession of the vehicle, the brake actuator failed and I lost use of the vehicle for two weeks. Of course, the repair of the brake actuator was under warranty! The miles per gallon are what I have come to expect from a Toyota Corolla - better than 40 mpg on the freeway, a little less on surface streets. I replaced the standard interior rear view mirror with the one that has a built in Universal garage door opener because there was not a convenient place to mount the garage door opener that I had used with two previous Toyota Corolla leases. The thing I like about this 2022 Toyota Corolla: good gas mileage, bright headlights, good interior space. Things I do not like: cheap plastic rear trunk wing that broke in drive through car wash, black out lettering that standout on the greyish body color, unlit driver side lock/unlock buttons that are hard to locate in the dark when getting out of the car.

This car has been excellent with all the safety features available. Purchasing it was also easy with the help of Paul at AutoNation Toyota in Corpus Christi, TX. Would recommend anyone looking for a car to go there.

I don’t write many reviews but I felt one employee deserved to be recognized. Celenne M, the Title Clerk. After leasing a car from another Gettel location more than two months ago, she inherited my problems. The title, tags and registration had to be transferred from another state. Additionally, I had numerous changes in paperwork to do and temporary tags to change out. It has been a frustrating situation. And took a lot of work. She constantly kept in touch with me and took care of everything without me having to contact her. This is made it could’ve been a really difficult and unhappy experience a good one. Thank you

What a great experience! Very good and fair business! My sales lady, Jacquline, was so professional and yet genuinely friendly and I felt very comfortable. Everything was very up front and honest with her, the sales floor manager, Stephen, and the financial manager, Robert. The manager, Gary, was very personable and professional as well. They found me a lender and a program to fit my budget. I was expecting a long day with a lot of hiccups but they all worked together to make the process as smooth as possible and it all came together in a very reasonable amount of time. I'd like to mention that a few employees there are veterans or have generations of veterans in their family and that dedication to our veterans/country is just another reason I will be coming back to give them my business and refer others. I've owned several Corolla's before, and the 2023 XSE is the best one yet. The fit and finish of the exterior, and the design and materials of the interior are all high quality for a car in this price range. The overall drivability is excellent, and feels like a car that's much more expensive. I'm still not really a fan of the CVT transmission. When you go to accelerate quickly, the car seems to be sliding in between gears and never actually chooses one. But after reading the owners manual and learning to shift the gears manually, it allows the cars performance to really shine through. It has 10 gears in the Manual Mode, and it's actually pretty fun to shift with either the up & down shift paddles on the side of the steering wheel, or pushing the gear-select lever one at a time. Anyway - it was the only driving issue I had, and Toyota already had a solution. Overall, this new Corolla is the best value car I've ever owned.

I have only had this car for 1 month but so far it runs well. My only issue, so far, is the front bumper and black grill. The bumper came loose ( I bought used) and now, the black grill has come loose... the hood seems to be tighter on one side than the other but works fine... just is not even...carfax said no wreck though. The exterior of cars these days seem cheap and flimsy. I never had that problem with my Honda CRV. I cannot tell you how many cars I see on the road with loose bumpers.

It is 2023, and I've been driving this car for 19 years with no problems. It has well over 600,000 miles on it, but I wouldn't know because the odometer maxed out at 299,999 back in 2013.

Incredible experience at Gettel Hyundai of Lakewood. Starting with Betina, who walked me through the vehicles I might be interested in seeing, sending me emails, setting up a time to meet with a sales person and even waited past her work hours to introduce herself. Anthony was our sales specialist and he help us narrow our search and put us in a 2020 Tuscon which my husband and I fell in love with. Steven was in finance and he was just amazing. We did have one issue that we contacted Robert the head salesman, and he immediately drove our new vehicle and resolved the issue quickly.

On the 16th of Feb i was in an accident in my 17 corolla xse. A car was lane hopping and was trying to get around traffic and no matter which way he act he was being stopped from getting around other cars. On his last lane switch he side swiped my passenger wheel well and made me slide into the Steele post barrier. This car handled very well i wish i could post photos but for how this car handled in this accident or being smashed on both sides this car handled perfectly. Thank you for making this a safe car

Went in today for a check up on my battery , which was purchased in 2019 from this service center. Check was performed and as I suspected it was not performing up to par. Was replaced and used what was left of the warranty , also let me know my cabin filter was dirty and has not been changed for 2 years. As I have all my serviced performed here at the Venice Honda Dealer, ever since I purchase it there , they keep records of service performed and I feel I can trust the mechanics. As for me they are Great .

Have had this car for 5 years and never had an issue only goes in for inspections. Goes great in the snow. Would definitely buy one again

I have always wanted a Toyota. Their reputation is outstanding, as everyone knows. I finally got to purchase a 2020 Corolla (I called it my Covid baby) in July of 2021. Well…at the end of September in 2023 I got into a collision with a SEMI TRUCK going about 65-70 mph. Maybe it was pure luck or maybe it was Toyota. Either way, the car did get totaled but I was safe inside and as the headline says- I got another one! Besides possibly saving my life, it’s comfy, cozy and cute 😁😁 get a Toyota- you deserve it!
