Used Saturn SL for sale near Chicago, IL

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. This car owes me nothing! Has served me well of getting me from point A to point B and has proven itself to be reliable in lots of conditions.

This is the most reliable car I have owned. I have >320,00kms on it after 23 years. It always starts in cold weather whether its plugged in or not. It never needs anything outside regular maintenance and tires are very inexpensive. It is super easy to get to anything on the engine. The a/c and heating work great. Its not the prettiest or most comfortable vehicle, but it works better than anything I have driven.

Honestly, this car is very reliable shamefully a customer abused it didn’t have the periodic maintenance performed and almost ran it into the ground. So as a mechanic I bought it for scrap price it had 64,000 orig miles did everything that was needed to get roadworthy and this thing sips fuel even with the DOHC engine! I feel like finding these and resurrecting them cause they’re the underdog of economy cars…..

Owned my s series for a decade, changed the brakes once, and tires once in 200,000 miles. Oil changes and ran great until it was stolen. Own a camry now, and it, as reliable as it is, still does not beat my saturn.

I have sl2 2002, 120000 km on it and running smooth. Best car, if compare to other sedan from 2002. This car sparks each car wash, still a clean and no rust. I changed many parts of course which is completely normal to give any car long life. I use only Mobile 1 syn oil and filter, change every 5 months. If you want to make it run like new, i suggest, change your spark plugs and cable. Change air filter at least once a year. This car is very easy to maintain. I will continue using it until my kids ask if they can have it. Everything still functions. Good sound system.

Ever been to a car lot and they were actually honest with you? I hadn't either till I went here. I had been looking for a car for weeks. I was fed up with the same 4 square...look what we can do for you...I will tell and sell you a dream if you leave today with a car and have buyers remorse because you spent to much BS. Not here at Silver Eagle. Looked at a couple and Aldo (our salesman) was straight honest about what still needed to be done or what they thought they needed to do/look at. Didn't want to send us home with a car that we would call them about a motor or transmission problem. Not how they do business. They helped us figure different ways we could finance. Didn't blow up our phone when we left to think about our decision. I had nothing but a great experience. Answered all questions we had. Followed up to make sure we were truly happy. ive had this car for years now and its only need the brakes maintenanced many times but it keeps on giving and never lets you down

I love my little car. I have had horrible luck when getting used cars and expected this one to be one of those. I got it in 2023 with 148k miles on it. I surprisingly haven’t had to have a whole lot done but have had to have some minor things done but they haven’t been too costly. I DO have an oil leak that I have to get figured out. It has been reliable so I am willing to find and get that fixed. When I get a new car I definately plan on keeping this one as I feel it still has a lot of life left in it. If you see one get it!

Best car I ever owned!!!!! 76k and so far sold only issues were minor overheating quick fix superb gas mileage and economical shame they went belly up for a 22 yr old vehicle she runs terrific

Bought new & loved it!!! Never gave me any problems at all. Unfortunately, I was in a very bad accident, entire front end destroyed, totaled. No collision. Always had it but insurance convinced me to drop. But I wasn’t hurt at all. Seat belt & air bag saved my life, I even got out to see how other driver was. When it was towed , the driver told me other than the accident my car was in great shape. I went inside house, couldn’t watch it being towed away. I loved my Saturn! Never should have closed up!

I bought a Saturn when I was younger and put it through xxxx. Didn't put oil in it. An didnt take care of it raining in to trees all kinds of stuff and it still ran Now I have an SL2 97 which I do take care of. It has 240,000 miles on it. And still runs new I got to put a little water put a little oil in it. And it's good. And I bought it from a guy for 600 bucks.

When I got the car it look new on the outside and look new on the inside and I couldn't leave my car was 20 years old that looked yet good I am very happy with this car and love it and the price was he any better
