Had the best experience working with Jackson Sawyer at Brightway Auto when purchasing my truck! First time I’ve ever purchased a vehicle and not been in person so it was an absolute trust fall. I was 3 states away and he made feel like I was right there the entire time from start to finish. Answered my 3 thousand 987 questions multiple times and thoroughly hahaha. Had no problem getting the vehicle to a certified dealership I arranged for inspection, arranged quick delivery and even continues to reply to follow up questions a couple months after purchase…questions that are more for info for me. I enjoyed working with these guys. I bought a 2010 Porsche Panamera. I went to Victoria TX to check it out before buying it. They picked me up at the airport and their building is a short drive from there. Everyone was very friendly to deal with. They seemed like car guys not sales people. There were no hidden fees whatsoever. The pictures of the car were fully representative of the vehicle. I had no surprises. I brought a cashiers check and some cash and did not use financing. I purchased the car and drove it 330 miles back to Dallas that day. I buffed and waxed it and installed a set of new tires. The thing looks awesome. I am very happy with my experience.

Here is a review of my start to finish dealings with Gate City, Ft. Lauderdale: 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gate City. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal that I waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns. 5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care even if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. 6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. No issues. Thank you Barbara! 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am going into Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gate City again....they just operate in a different style than what I'm traditionally used to, which is just fine.
