I LOVE THIS CAR. My youngest bought this car for me for $2K with 65K miles on it, one previous owner, she had a little body/paint damage to the rear passenger, and front driver door. I took this car to no less than 4 separate big name and local mechanics, the only thing wrong with my car was, the serpentine belt had cracks. So far I replaced that, a rear window regulator, and got an oil change. The day I got it inspected, I was t-boned, right over the existing rear door damage. So now, my car has been fully restored, and can be titled as a classic. September it will be a year I have owned her, when anyone who knows anything about this vehicle sees or services it, they speak so highly, mentioning the Cadillac engine, it’s just a gem. Rides so smooth, very roomy, the leather scent, even after twenty years. I’m in love 🥰

This car is sharp and runs great! I have driven it down south multiple times and it provides a roomy comfortable ride equipped with all the latest features available at the time such as 8-way adjustable driver and passenger seats, lumbar support, heated seats, separate passenger/backseat climate control, cruise control, rear and front fog lighting, sunroof with solar panel, rear armrest with cup holders, and power windows. This Aurora handles very well on the curvy, winding roads throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains and blows ice cold air in the Mississippi heat! This car is roomy, reliable, and possesses a lot of pep!

This car is a Performer Handles great, Very comfortable. The only bad thing I can say is turn ratio is bad. Has a Great sound when you get on her other than that Hated to see Oldsmobile close

This car was as good, if not better, than my new 2001 Lincoln. I enjoyed driving both! The Olds had a V6,...whereas the Lincoln had the 32 valve V8. The V8 was also used in the Mustang Cobra.

Great service! Was really helpful in getting me and my daughter a good reliable car. Our agent Josh was very hands on and very knowledgeable. He did a great job of distracting my two year old while I did the paperwork! Love the attentiveness of the staff overall a great place to buy from!

The only thing I have had complications with is the cup holders and space it allows. Definitely for long trips it needs a more stable cup holder. Other than that it's a really great car and awesome on fuel considering it's a v8

Bought my 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora new in early 1997. It is always covered and garage kept when not in use. As of the date of this review it has just over 41,000 miles. The exterior has a great aerodynamic design and I think it still has the look that can compete with the designs of todays vehicles. The only thing I wish was available for the exterior is fog or aux. lamps. The interior was very well designed and is very comfortable on long trips. The audio and climate control systems were well thought out and work flawlessly (at least mind does). The seats with their leather skins and heat system make nice on those cold driving days and nights. On one vacation, and staying near the posted speed limit I obtained an average of 28.3 miles per gallon, combined highway/city . Needless to say I was very surprised with the mpg I got on a 4.0L V-8 engine. It also has very good acceleration and smooth performance. The transmission shifts smoothly even under high acceleration. With that said, I could not tell the difference in the "normal" or "performance" modes on the transmission shift column. I do like the where the battery is located, under the rear seat. My first battery lasted 13 years before I had to replace it. This is most likely because it is not near a high heat area such as the engine compartment. The only negative for me is that you need to used the higher priced Premium gasoline. Although it is not a supercar, I and wish it had more HP, I do love my Aurora and would not sell it for any money. As a matter of fact I would like to buy another 1997 if I could find one in as good of condition as mine! (mine is in mint, but not show room condition)
