2010 Mercury Grand Marquis LS review
Old and outdated but solid as a rock.
This is one of the better cars we have owned over the last 40 years. Sort of an ugly duckling but absolutely reliable and durable. One of its best Trates is long distance road trips. We could do 500 miles per day in comfort day after day. For a big heavy car, it can get good gas millage, we got 27+ on the interstate. Day to day it was around 15 to 20 depending on how much we drove in the city.

We searched all over Northern Virginia for a reliable used car for our college aged daughter. From the scary fly-by-night warehouse dealers in Chantilly to a dealer in Alexandria selling a car that had obviously been in an accident as a 0 accident vehicle. Eddie and the team at 1st Choice Auto were a breath of fresh air. It's a small team, not competing with each other, with a solid lot of inventory, and a focus on helping their customers find a vehicle. They engaged us in dialogue to understand what we were looking for, recommended a couple vehicles on the lot, then took us out to see their entire inventory. Most reliable model cars I've owned since 1986
Power is fabulous - you'll leave the rest in the dust! Comfort is outstanding w/ driver-side adjustable seat. Sound is amazing - best I've ever heard in a vehicle. Goes anywhere with non-slip trans-axle feature and studded all-season radials installed. One reviewer (a pilot) stated that driving this car on the interstate was "like flying a plane on auto-pilot" - I couldn't agree more - he said it all and said it well!

Luxuary car with muscle.
I am the original owner of this car bought new in March 2010. I put a Borla dual exhaust system on it. Gives it more power and better gas mileage. I put a K&N air filter on it so it can breathe better. Car now has 54,000 miles on it. I meet the senior citizen status to drive it. Now I can hot rod the car and enjoy the smooth ride. After 10 years, it still has smooth cushy ride. Other than a couple of batteries and an alternator, this car has been little trouble. I love this car!

I read the reviews, considered all the good and the bad and still took a chance. Found a local person familiar with the type of car for a PPI. They di fix the AC on their dime. The car did have a minor accident on the drivers passenger door, not reported on the Experian report. This was not a deal breaker for me. I chose to fly out of state to make sure I got the title in my hand. Everyone was pleasant to work with from the moment I contacted them. I took one star off only because I arrived around 10:30am and wasn't able to leave till 4pm. I drove the car 500+ miles home without any problems.
