i just wreck my 1979 mercury capri i went looking and found this cougar by luck i think. the cougar is my third one my first was a 1978 that was nice. this 1997 with sun roof is a great looker though it was garaged for four years it has 169 ,000 miles thats good as far as its now 2017 this is good in snow and other than a tune up i have no way to complain except the transmission shudder is a little mind boggle but this car i believe will last a long time i love the 4.6 probally 23 on highway

I bought my V8/4.7 cougar brand new in 1995 in Tallahassee Florida while I was in the Military. It even came with a CD player which I only had cassettes at the time. I still own it and it has never broke down on me. The mileage gage stop working at a little over 160,000 miles, so I would guess it has about 220,000 miles on it and a couple of years ago the air bag light came on (which I still haven't fixed) and I had to replace the 3 sensors, the struts and repaint it, but with that said it has always started and never failed a smog. I still get compliments when I do drive it around town.

A couple hiccups but we were able to work through it and got it all done. Bought a beautiful 68 corvette, happy in the end.

Bought this 5 years ago for my daughter. Wasn’t the right car for her and I was the one who loved it so it became my car. The feeling of the v8 roaring to life and pressing the accelerator is just wonderful. The engine purrs like a kitten. It has now become our extra family car but I drive it as often as I can.

After I made an offer I was told it had already been sold. I then called back to get more info on more similar cars to choose from and no one called me back.

My second, first was 1994 XR7-with 3.8 liter V-6. timeless-beuaty. Bought 1997 XR7, in 08/2003. Excellent blend of sporting-spirit and poised luxury. The 4.6 liter V-8 smooth, strong, quiet and always reliable. Solid construction. Standard ABS-brakes and 4-wheel independent-suspension add to sporting, comfort and safety. 5 average-sized adults seat comfortably. large trunk plenty of space. Quick acceleration, must be skilled driver on snow and ice. Traction-assist somewhat helpful on snow and ice. Loaded with power-options. Huge-package for small-price. Transmission is tempermental, shudders in between shifts- randomly. I will keep forever, unless Mercury can design suitable facsimilie......, DOUBTFUL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This car has been in my life over 39 years. It is a number two car. Not a concourse edition....but real nice! This car turns heads mostly because folks have NO IDEA what it is. Try to find a Cougar XR-7 convertible that has not been HACKED and chopped up over the years. I love to cruise in this car.

The team at Skyway has done an incredible job getting a really impressive collection of classic cars! The team was very helpful in answering all of my questions on the 1960 Corvette I was interested in, and their building was beautiful. Unfortunately, I was unable to buy at this moment, but I will be back!!

Had an outstanding experience at Econo Auto Sales. Saeid helped find me a great used car. I bought a beautiful Toyota Prius (with a solar panel!) that has low miles and I got a low interest loan through the credit union. They're a buy here pay here dealer, but you can also get bank financing if you don't have bad credit.

I did buy this car used with 55k on it but it has been a great car if your looking for a used car look for a good used cougar there great cars .

Great experience. Staff very nice and the car was super clean for an 06. Pricing seemed good. I didnt buy the car bc i will buy a newer one with less miles but i would go back there again
