Jake P.
Jake P. was incredibly transparent, patient, and provided excellent customer service. My wife and I felt very comfortable discussing our options without making us feel pressured. Most importantly, the dealership and employees made us feel appreciated, ultimately leaving with our vehicle of choice, in the price range we expected, with absolutely no additional hassle. I look forward to doing business with Jake and the folks at Napleton Kia of Fishers! Very satisfied customer!

Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying
Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.
Police Car!
I'm a Mopar guy, but I've always been a fan of Cougars, because of the name and the animal they represent. However, I was not prepared for what happened after I bought a 1997 Mercury Cougar XR7 30th Anniversary Car. I did not know it was a Police Squad Car in disguise with it's 4.6L OHC fuel-injected V8 engine, heavy-duty transmission, and heavy duty power disc brakes. The car even has the same skid-plates under the engine that the Crown-Vics have on cop cars! To round out the package you get a sport-tuned suspension and close ratio steering. I added police rated Goodyear Eagle Ultra-Grip tires. The car has been the most reliable I've ever owned. The '97 Cougar I just bought is my second one. The first one has 140,000 miles on it and still has like-new performance without using a drop of oil! I had to pick up a second one for storage so when this one dies, I'll still have one to drive every day. I can't say enough about the 1997 Cougars!
