Used 1989 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class for sale near Chicago, IL

I had my 6 year annual service performed on my 2015 Boxster GTS at 15,000 miles. I was referred by a friend of my wife’s who knew I had experienced some painfull issues with the Porsche dealer I purchased it from over the past five years. Highly recommend this car. Bought my R107 with 8520 miles in 2006. It is not an every day car. Has 18985 miles now. IT NEEDS TO BE DRIVEN. Is a concourse. Not that comfortable inside but has huge curb appeal. We also have a 2020 Bentley GT Mulliner. The R107 has as much wow factor as the Bentley. It is not a performance car. But it is just so cool. RP

I received a loner vehicle while my 2014 ES 350 Mark Jacobson Lexus stayed overnite at Chantilly. I woke up today January 24 full of brightness started my loaner Lexus and off we went. I did one errand and was prepared to return the loaner. Engine refused to turn over. Called my Lexus service rep Hetty Stoner and turned me over to Lexus Roadside Assistance. Came with in 45 minutes and off we went to Chantilly. Constructive tips- please give a loaner with at least half tank of gas and inform customer as to start up procedure in every loaner vehicle. Weather permitting make sure all loaners have been cleaned and washed for eye candy effect. First cabin not log cabin. I love Pohanka Lexus. Excellent handling at high speed. The 1989 was the last R107 body style that Mercedes built. High performance V8 engine. Classic styling. This car gets a lot of attention on the road. I've owned it for 16 years and am the proud second owner. According to an article in Forbes magazine the 560SL is 1 of the top 10 most favored collectible automobiles.

This was a very good experience. The response to my questions was punctual and I would deal with them again.

I like it. It reminds me of how good old cars were built. The seats are comfortable and the suspension works really well on bumps so you don?t feel much while driving.

Last of the best M/B ever built. Always garaged, never driven in winter, all records, never wrecked. Last of the cast iron V-8 & will last forever. Excellent condition.
