Ask for Rick
Helped a friend pick out and buy a truck at Red’s Auto & Truck. We worked with Rick Hawkins and he was refreshingly knowledgeable, professional, and polite.
Just like brand new car
This vehicle is almost flawless for a 32 yr old vehicle. Drives and rides like a new one. Very fun, fast, and very dependable.

This was a very good experience.
This was a very good experience. The response to my questions was punctual and I would deal with them again.
What to expect...
What do you get in a fox body? Well you get the legendary reliability of the Windsor V8, you get an intoxicating sound, you get a comfortable interior, and easy to work on platform. You get a car that's fun to drive.. While by today's standards they are slow, they still make gobs of torque, and that makes it fun, the RWD platform is a noodle in convertible trim, and a rattle trap in Hatch trim, but they have held up very well over the years. Things to watch out for are Rear main seal leaks, oil pan gasket leaks, and rust. At this point in time, they have been beaten on, hot-rodded, and tossed around, they didn't have the best build quality from the factory, and panel gaps are a mile wide. These aren't daily drivers any longer, but they make fantastic, cheap entertainment for a bargain price. Fully restored factory fresh examples should get 20k, while a very nice reliable driver quality should fetch no more than 7K. It is important to check strut towers for rust at the seam, if there is any rust, walk away. In convertibles check the windshield and the rear torque boxes, as they tend to tweak, if they are tweaked, it has been beaten or wrecked and rebuilt.. walk away. Low mileage cars should be avoided, all of the factory seals were cork, and dry rot from sitting. However if you find a well maintained, higher mileage car, they are a bargain.. blast... and you should feel confident buying them.. This is not a beginners car, it will put you in a ditch if you aren't careful in anything but dry weather. An important note is the top on convertibles, the mechanism is hydraulic, and expensive, if it doesn't work, walk away.. The top itself is cheap, but very in-depth at re-installation, which can cost 2k for the installation.. if it needs a top, negotiate that into the cost.. a driver with a bad top is a 4-5k dollar car.. don't over pay..
