New and used 2025 Ford Explorer Active 4WD for sale near Hanscom AFB, MA

This Explorer replaces a 2017 I loved. That car is still in the family. The Platinum Edition is fabulous, lots of bells and whistles. I choose to turn off the lane management system. It is somewhat aggravating. The automatic on off at stoplights can be irritating when you have a lot of stoplights. I will turn this feature off when I’m in traffic at a lot of lights. Otherwise, I keep it on. There is a great deal of new technology on the vehicle which is located on the center screen. It was not hard to learn, and although I’ve had this vehicle for a month I’m still learning a few things. This vehicle is a six seater with heated and ventilated seats. The back windows have screens, which is great when your transporting little children and anyone else the seats also have an automatic fold. This car will move quickly great pick up and even with a new car around town, I’m getting 20 1/half miles per gallon on regular gas. Although being a six seater, it is not too big. I had looked at a jeep which ran a good $13,000 more for the same features. The new body style on the Jeep was not appealing to a family member so we stuck with the Ford.

This is my third Explorer…and this time I chose the Platinum edition. The exterior is about the same but with some very tasteful updates to the rear taillights and front grill. The interior is dramatically improved with a variety of materials used throughout. The larger touchscreen is easy to use. This is the first Android based platform and it is easy to use and worked seamlessly with Apple CarPlay. The Blue Cruise auto-driving feature is very impressive- and once you get over the hesitation of letting the car steer itself is very useful especially on long interstate trips. All in all this is the best Explorer I’ve had.

Great service. But due to Covid sometimes it’s hard to get through to someone when you want answers about a certain vehicle but other than that service was spectacular.

The entire experience was excellent. I was kept informed every step of the way. Pickup and delivery were flawless. Car returned in like new condition. Very pleased.

On May 11th 2022 we took our 2015 ford explorer to sentry ford in Medford Ma. My wife drives to Topsfield Ma 4 days a week round trip from our home in Everett Ma. She was experiencing a very unpleasant ride and thought that it might just be a rotation .When she went to check her car in Diane was so pleasant and cordial that we felt right at home with a family member. They kept the car for 5 days and always kept us up to date. If is wasn't Diane it was Mark .They explained everything to us, Unlike other dealers they really cared in having us have a very pleasant so we would feel comfortable coming back. I am 71 and i have purchased many vehicles from different dealers and i can say by far this dealership far surpasses them all. Our next vehicle would definitely be purchased at Sentry and we thank both Mark and Diane for there time , experience, friendliness , honesty and being so cordial. We feel like we gained two more friends.
