I've had this car for over a year now and I am generally impressed....drives great (even in snow), is quite comfortable, has lots of features, decent electronics, gets excellent mileage with and without the battery. Negatives: cheap "leather" interior, door sill is too wide to get out without getting dirt on the back of your leg (even without the options step), backup cross traffic safety is useless unless you are backing into a wall, and the hands-free lift gate is disabled if you get a trailer hitch. All fixable if BMW but some effort into it.

Smoothest and most professional car buying experience I have had over the years. The dealership was transparent as to the pros and cons of the vehicles I was interested in. The sales person made it clear she was not paid on commission and so I knew her input was not motivated to sell me a higher priced vehicle for her self interest. My first car buying experience in over a decade. I rolled in cautiously optimistic but was blown away by this place. Gorgeous inventory, easygoing sales staff, cool atmosphere and just a generally good vibe. Khai and Tony were good men. Patient and helpful and let me test drive anything I wanted. I am typically a very decisive person but this was my first purchase in a long time and I was a little anxious. I test drove 3 cars but ultimately drove away with the one I came to see. All in all a terrific experience. Very grateful to Khai for his help and patience. He stayed well past closing to help me drive off in a new-to-me car and worked with my budget to get me into a car that made sense for me (it was ultimate a pragmatic buy, not a passion one, but it really is sexy mA). This is my second X5, and the X5 45e is a great hybrid vehicle without any of the usual compromises. It has all the amenities of a standard X5, with the added value of the electric drive and $7500 Federal Tax Credits. The vehicle can be plugged in, or even recharges while driving (when that feature is activated). I highly recommend this vehicle for those considering a new SUV or Hybrid.

Prior to my purchasing a 2024 BMW X5 plug in hybrid, I had both an electric and gas powered cars due to a fear of traveling long distances with an electric vehicle. I researched both traditional hybrid and plug in hybrid coming to conclusion that plug in was perfect for my needs. BMW X5 e had the longest range so I decided to purchase one a month ago. I have driven the car approximately 900 miles on one and a half tank of gas and several nightly charges. The quality of the car is exceptional and I love the performance. I would highly recommend this car.
