Over all my experience was pretty good.
Over all my experience was pretty good. The one thing I think the dealer can improve is going over all the options that the car has.
Solid German Engineering
I bought my 2009 X5 4.8 liter used with 40k miles on it. Driven it 110,000 additional miles to date and it has been an AWESOME car. Reliable, strong and drives more like a sports car than an SUV. The body style has been overhauled by BMW 3 times since then, yet even at this age the car looks elegant and solid inside and out. German engineering at its best!! Can't wait to get my new one.

Always great—and today, even better
I am a widow who does not know much about cars—they were my under husband’s purview. I have so valued the consistent, reliable, competent, efficient service from Serra Mercedes. Most recently, Ken who was my service rep and Austyn was my service tech. They both hit the ball out of the park. They educated me, made suggestions, and outlined options…..and then enacted our agreements in a professional and timely manner. And both were superbly kind.
2011 BMW X5 5.0i - One of the best SUV
As a proud BMW owner since mid-eighties, to include owning a 2001 E-53 X5 while stationed overseas; the 2011 X5 50i is one of the best-looking and best performing BMW SUV we've owned (especially with sport activity package, adaptive drive, and dynamic stability control). In 2011, our newly purchased X5 E70 with MSRP of over $80K, was loaded with all BMW options offered, expect active cruise control. When we recently purchased a BMW X7, the BMW dealer trade offer was low, so we decided to keep our X5 with only 48.8K miles, my wife loves it. The only major repairs we have done so far are to replace the oil pan gasket (due to a small leak), and a couple of new batteries. The X5 still runs like new, and we plan to keep it as long as possible.

It is always a pleasure to deal with these guys.
It is always a pleasure to deal with these guys. I purchased my second car from Your Choice Auto - they are always friendly and professional and their cars are of a higher standard than anywhere else. The car is an exceptional example and was meticulously prepared. Azeem provided a very thorough and pleasant handover of the car, and I'd like to thank Him for showing me the car and for showing me the car.
Great Car after spending money and love.
Great car especially when you put the time and energy to make it purr. Change the oil more than recommended. Do NOT follow the BMW recommendations on fluids. This car requires thought. Inflate the tires as high as possible. This partly solves the stiff steering issue. Handles great at 120 mph. Not great steering in parking lot. V8 engine is superior. Learn to live and love the many quirks of a BMW.

A great place to go buy your vehicle!
My experience has been awesome so far! They got me into a very nice car, for an awesome price, in less than 2 hrs, and Monique literally saved my life, lol! I would recommend this place to any and every one! Amazing prices, reliable, decent vehicles, and alot to choose from too! They will take care of you, I can promise you that!
Great Car. Sad to let it go.
This car performed so well but I am upgrading to a Mercedes and wouldn’t have parking for the X5. It responds fast to acceleration and the sound system is very great. Great on gas as well for a powerful engine. Never drove it that much as I work outside the country for the most part.

This is one of best places to buy a used car
Rob was a great helping salesman. He ensured that I was satisfied with my purchase before I paid. It wasn't all about the money with them, they're great people! I highly recommend this dealership , I have purchased another car for my wife and the experience was the same. Great place. Rob is the finest you can find.
I Might Be Long Winded and Verbose, but I'm Right
In 2001, BMW and a number of contemporary (then) film makers/directors, including Guy Ritchie, created an amalgamation of 8 short films featuring BMWs most coveted line-up of that years models. Although watching Clive Owen launch Madonna from the back seat of a beautifully appointed M5 onto a paparazzi lined red carpet was quite the spectacle, it was the X5 nimbly plowing through sugar cane fields that really caught my attention. At the time affording such a vehicle was way outside of reality, so I was only able to admire the SUV from afar. I eventually put the idea of owning one in the far recesses of my mind, and all but forgot about it. Flash forward to 2017. I'm standing at an intersection staring at my feet, waiting for the light to change. What happened next changed my life forever. I was witness to the most beautiful exhaust note I've ever heard coming from the tail pipes of a gorgeous black on black X5M. As it idled, it produced the faintest aroma not of spent fuel, but that of a well oiled machine. It just smelled clean. When the light turned green, and that engine opened up, I was shook. A solid ten seconds passed as I stood there slack jawed and wide eyed before I was able to figure out how to pick up my foot and start walking again. I was on my phone within moments and spent the remainder of my walk to work quickly consuming every bit of X5 info I could sink my teeth into. I was quick to discover that the M was never going to be of interest to me as it seemed to be the biggest money pit of the line-up, which to me should not be a deal breaker if you have the money, a genius of a mechanic, and it's not your daily driver. I was looking for the unicorn model. The one gem hidden among the ranks that no one mentions because, after all, the most vocal BMW drivers always seem to be the people who have never owned a reliable BMW. Let alone THE most reliable BMW. I want to go on record right now when I say that the 2004 E53 X5 is almost the most solid work horse of a bimmer, second only to the 1990 E30 325 ix. Talk about a Unicorn. If you know, you know. I digress; three months later I found myself behind the wheel of a 2004 X5. The way that in-line 6 E53 engine pairs with the AWD is something quite magical. Does it perform well as an off-road adventure truck? LOL! Nope (I fared much better in my old Montero). Will it crush mountain roads, dismantle The Tail of the Dragon, and put thousands of other vehicles in the rearview. Oh yes, and it will do it faithfully, despite the 225,000 miles on the odometer. It is 2022 after all, so if you're planning on buying one, rest assured, it'll still have tons of life in it. If I'm able to keep my 357,000+ mile 1990 E34 alive, I'm certain an 04 E53 can get there swimmingly. I swear by that inline 6. There's no better term for that configuration than "bullet proof". If you don't own one, find one, and buy it. If you already own one, buy another.

Life is a gamble
I bought mine in 2015 - it was the premium sport activity version - spent two weeks deep detailing the outside - looked like someone waxed it with metal wristwatch still on - but it was a labor of love - and that has been it - seven years later I have put 12000 miles on it and only expense was new battery from when I left lights on and killed the original battery - got rid of the run flats the first week I had it - the thing depreciated so fast and all these people giving me grief about don't buy the 2011 x5 - but the n55 engine is a good engine if you research a bit and get stuff done early that is cheaper --- well I only have 34000 miles on it - ( I have other cars) - and when I think about trading it and here what I would get I can't bring myself to do it - not when nothing bad has happened - and it's like when a curve says 45 and you go through 75 how can you - well the infinity I had was a tad bit faster but worthless in the snow - but the x5 does so well - and ya I guess there are broke versions and that sucks for those that get stuck - but that happens with all cars - some get lucky or god loves them more - lol - and others get crappy cars --- hey its like when we are born - some get great folks as parents and others have to survive the best they can in the dysfunctional grief of horrible parents - but I don't know this x5 I got is like that dog that keep following you - I want to trade it - but it keeps just going and going and it drives so nice - and everybody is bad mouthing it but I have no complaints except one - my back - the L5 vertebra got kind of destroyed and it is so hard those seats that even with a support pillow - it is hard to go long distance - not saying the cadillac escalade or the gmc yukon makes all the misery go away but I can travel better with the big cushions -- I guess I could custom make a special pillow and then I wouldn't have that to whine about - lol - anyway -- I guess life being what it is the engine could blow up tomorrow and it would be worthless - but the funny thing is - with all the depreciation they pretty much made it worthless anyway - so I won't be trading it for a kia - or fiat --- the years I spent driving 1000 dollar cars might have been fun and an adventure but now at this age -- I don't want to die on the side of the road somewhere because my electric car blew up with me in it. what I say is read about this car this year and do what you can - and forget those people at the dealership for BMW - they might be great humans, but they are there to Ghost your Credit cards and spend your money in so many selfish ways - in many ways they resemble the health care system - just take care of your car and give it some love.

Glad we found Silver Eagle!
We answered a Craigslist ad. The price was so good we didn’t believe it was a real ad. We went to see the car, Charlie was our salesman. We weren’t sure so we left, no pressure. We took a second look, easily agreed on a deal and left a deposit. We came back to pick up the car and the price we agreed on was the final price! I expected documentation fees, all those fees most dealers try to add. We were finished in about 10 minutes, I expected an hour or more. So we started out happy and remain happy, love the car. There will be something with any used car but everything was clearly disclosed, no surprises. All of the staff were very friendly and Charlie was a great salesman. It was the best experience and we will be back, and tell our friends of course.
Very reliable vehicle
This X5 BMW runs very smoothly very confy.. no complaints you can't feel how fast your going at times but love the feeling of the ride.

Beautiful, Sexy Car That Holds The Road!
WHat a fantastically fun vehicle to drive. I always knew BMW's were known for being the "Driver's Car," and this was no exception. My car has the Sport Package, and thus, the sport tuned suspension as well as HUGE wide tires that grip the road like nothing I've ever driven! Taking corners is SO fun in this machine. Combined with the all-wheel-drive system, this thing just STICKS to the road...period! I got the 3.0si for feul economy and it's more reliable than the turbo charged options. It's peppy, and get's up t speed in decent time, but I still went ahead and ordered a BMS tune that bumped u the HP about 10hp, and torque about 13tq, and mostly it gave me 3 pedal sesitivity setting to choose from. I LOVE that. Car came even more alive! It's and older car and a BMW at that, so it's picky at times. There are sensors everywhere...sensors on top of sensors...then a sensor for that! It can be annoying at times. Regular upkeep is very important to keep her happy. Best if you can do basic stuf like oil changes, brakes, plugs, etc yourself. It's not hard to work on in my opinion. Saved a bundle too! My next X5 will be a newer one with the 4.4 twin turbo. The X5M is great, but the XDrive5.0 Sport Package only loses 20%hp to the M and you can get it with a 3rd row, which I like( no 3rd row option on M line). An ECU flash for $1200 will get you 600hp/650tq, which is MORE than the X5M and WAY cheaper. Plus the exhasust on the 5.0 sounds better too:-) That free info for those who don't know:-) So yes--I like the car very much. Nothing drives like it! And it is sexy to look at!

I love my 09 x5 4.8 sport
This truck is my favorite car ever. I've had it for 5 years and put alot of money into it. Valve seals and gaskets, radiator, coolant pipe, battery, alternator, water pump, tires and brake pads and rotors. This is considered MAINTENANCE on a high performance luxury vehicle! Know this before you buy it! It's not a Honda! There expensive to own and maintain but I know what I signed up for and I'm happy.
