2019 Volvo XC40 consumer reviews

The XC40 is everything it's made out to be. Excellent comfort, smart design and awesome looks are just a few of the things we like about our newest Volvo.

We love this car. WE have owned Volvos for 35 years. WE had one that had over 400,000 miles. Wish we could have sat in on some of the design areas for the car. Everything works and generally works well but with everything on a computer, the learning curve may be interesting(?) and getting to the information is not always easily intuitive. Not good or bad, just a bit different. That being said, this is the car we wanted and we had looked at more than six different vehicles in the same class.

I just bought my XC40 but so far it's great. I love the Amazon Blue color, the 20" wheels, and the large moonroof. It drives really well, feels roomy for a small compact SUV, and has many safety features. I look forward to keeping if for a long time!

I am completely pleased with the car. I love the black and white. It is a show stopper! For the first time in my life, I am taking second to my car!

I've been back and forth on mid-SUV's for a while. My last SUV was a GMC Terrain and there were features that lacked (i.e. fully automatic windows, tighter turning radius, reliable bluetooth connection). When I got into the volvo XC40, I knew that this was the car that I wanted. No questions asked. Sure, I took it out for a test drive, but I was already at the financial service desk, signing papers. The car is amazing, even for a mid-level package, I got everything I wanted in a car. Last weekend I took her out for a little off roading on my way to Mt. Pugh trailhead. Drive mode shift is smooth and quick, and handles like a dream climbing up the rough terrain. The XC40 is fast, efficient, and carries the name "Luxury Sports Utility Vehicle" to the next level. Absolutely a dream to drive and I couldn't be happier!

Love it. So comfortable. So easy to drive. So many features. Make me happy just to drive around the city. New nav system rocks. Cruise control too!

Love this car! Performance, interior design and style. Great value in this class of vehicle. Looking forward to many more miles of driving fun and maximizing the features of the vehicle.

My New XC40 is a drivers car. I love the tight turns, overall performance,safety features, large center screen, dashboard navigation, appleplay, options to change dashboard lighting color, the hook on the glove compartment to hold my hand bag or light bag of groceries so they don?t spill all over. It?s a quiet ride and handles the curves of the mountain I drive on like a dream. No regrets.

I think this is a great car. It is a nice small SUV but super spacious. I also love the fact that you can roll the windows down with the clicker. The touchscreen takes some getting used to and needs to be played around with but so far it is very great.

This car drives so smoothly and hugs the road. I love the way it handles . It's stylish and meets my needs exactly. Good acceleration and fuel efficient. Just love it!
