I love my 2000 Volvo S70 GTL
I bought my 2000 Volvo S70 GTL 3 months ago in Jan 2022. It has been the most luxurious car I've ever owned, in my live!! Look it up on Google for photos. It has leather interior, so many bells & whistles. Like the driver's seat has five buttons to move the seat up -down, back - forward, the seat front & back slants. On the dash, it has so many çontrols buttons to tell you what's going on with car. You will definitely have to read the manual, because it's not like any other car you've ever owned. I love it!!

My Volvo S70 2000 has exceeded my expectations.
My S70 is very safe and comfortable. Cost efficient in terms of maintenance. The original battery lasted 7 years and the air conditioning required repair after 12 years of use. Even after purchasing my XC60 I have decided to keep my S70 as the family "utility car"

A real unknown gem!
I bought my car at auction, and it was dirty, busted up, and needed a ton of work! I put the time and money into it, and it has really paid off. Now I am very impressed with the features, quietness, handling, and power!

Tailor Made Car For Me, and My Handicap
This car is great for me! Test drove the SUV'S and felt like I would turn over. Went to many dealerships with various different cars, hated them. I was told to try the C70 Cross Country, it was perfect for me!!! Love my car, I am blessedâ¤

Best car I have ever owned.
I bought the 2000 SE in 2000 from a dealership, that sold Volvo and Mercedes, as a used car. I used it as my personal car and it has been perfect. The squeaky dashboard is unsettling, which began after I had the air condition replaced. There are fixes for this but I decided it was not worth the bother. It was just totaled in the rear.I am looking for another 2000 S/SE

It's 18 yrs old and I'm not sick of it yet......
This has been the best car I've ever had. I have been the second owner, the first owner was a single woman who leased the car. Other than her hand cream, which deteriorated the leather wrapped steering wheel, she babied the car and it was like new. My 2 complaints are: 1) The door panels start to pull out. I have had them fixed when the car was under the extended warranty, and they are pulling out a bit again. This should have been a recall. 2) The A/C evaporator is located behind the dashboard. To fix this MAJOR repair, the entire dashboard must be removed. The part isn't too costly but the job is extremely labor intensive. Some Volvo mechanics can do this repair very well, while others prefer not to attempt it. I was lucky and found a Mom/Pop shop that had a Volvo tech who could do the repair blindfolded. This, again, should have been a recall. A problem which began in 1998 -2000 and includes the V70's and XC70's. The seats are the most comfortable I have ever sat in........and this is including Mercedes. I rented a 2000 V70 and drove it to PA from Boston and decided that I had to buy the sedan version. The paint has held up pretty well. The sunroof (I live in New England) will rust at the seal and I just purchased an OEM sunroof because I get a few drips on the headliner during a bad rain storm. I have 160K miles on the car and just had the timing belt/water pump replaced. It still gets great gas milage. I can get approx 29 mpg on the highway. If they still made the S70, I'd buy another one. For those who are looking at these reviews and thinking about buying a used S70 or any other type of Volvo, please look at the number of previous owners that the car has had and make sure you check out the Carfax. I have friends who have had terrible luck with their Volvos, yet some had 4 or more previous owners. If you have just one person out of the 4 who neglected the cars maintenance, then you could end up with buyer's remorse. Good Luck to all. W.

Great 4 Door FWD Luxury Sedan
Great car, drives well, reliable and fun. The turbo is sporty, and Volvo makes things really well with an eye on safety. Lots of features that are not found on today?s base models.

Most reliable car I've ever owned!
After reading the other reviews, I decided to keep my old faithful. It's 18 years old and still going strong. It use to belong to my husband who unfortunately passed on in 2009. I've driven it since then .It's sentimental and very reliable. For a old car it has around 265,000 miles on it. I'm gonna keep it as long as possible.

Point A to Point Boring...but it was a decent car
Not much to say. It was an inline 5 cylinder auto, sedan, with a very nice interior, quiet and mostly smooth ride, and decent gas mileage. It was a good, mostly reliable commuter car for me. The downside is that when a Volvo breaks, #1) it's never cheap, and #2) it usually is catastrophic. I started to lose the trans on mine and the replacement was $200 more than the car was worth at the time. So, I burned $200 on a trans flush to get it moving again, drove it straight to a dealer and traded for a different car. All in all, it was not a bad car, it served it's purpose, and had the trans lasted, probably would have been in my possession much longer.

Great bang for the buck
Rare Model, great condition, Parts are pricey but worth the value you get out of the car. If you can get a one owner, no accident, grab it
