Great!!!!!!

This is a great piece of mechine in its class, like no other. I have a volvo S60 R. Men!!!, this mechine has the greatest take-off speed, the handling is phenominal, spectacular... In all, I will say, "it is one of the best moving mechines out there, if not the best". Its better as well as faster than Honda Accord, Toyota camry, Nissan Maximas, Infinity M35s, I35s and all the G series. It is what people call, "the Sleeper", or "the wolf in a sheep's clothes". As it is with speed, so it is with being durable, reliable, safe and it is easy to drive.

Remarkable in snow, climbs mountains effortlessly.

I bought my 2005 S60 AWD with turbo last summer for under $13K (Had 75K miles on it). Since it had so many miles I made sure to get an extended warranty which goes to 125K mile or 3 years. So, I now have peace of mind and haven't had to take it to the shop yet. Drove in the mountains several times to go skiing and am impressed every time how easily it gets up the passes on I-70. Believe me, it scoots; passes V-8s like nothing else, and that's with three adults and all our ski gear. Gas mileage has been around 20 in town, around 30 on the highway--even in the mountains. I'm looking forward to driving this car for probably another 3 years and will seriously consider getting a new one. This has the ability to haul the family, move like a sports car, and get through snow like and SUV.

Very satisfied!

My '05 S60 2.5T turned over 65K miles today. I have no complaints about the quality or reliability of the car. As for comfort, Volvos are unequaled. (Back seat legroom is tight, though.) Yes, the turning radius is a bit long, but not as bad as some reviews I've read indicate. My daughter is learning to drive and I feel very good about her driving this car (or my wife's S70 wagon, for that matter). I traded in a loaded 5-year-old Camry XLE on this car with only 60K miles, and I admit I had some buyer's remorse for the next three days or so. But that went away pretty quickly. I recently drove a relative's Camry that is identical to the one I had. After driving the Volvo for so long, I couldn't believe I ever liked the Camry. Consumer Reports rates the reliability of this model pretty high. Get all the services done on time and you'll have no problems.

Very comfortable, very sporty, great gas mileage

Nice and simple. Very easy layout. Very durable. Very responsive. Very quite. Very fast. I drive 25,000-30,000 miles a year and this is a great car. Got a 2005 certified car with 33k miles and 2.5t for 18,500. Couldn't be happier. I am 6'4, 230 lbs, and I have plenty of headroom. Owned 4 Volvos already because no one can seem to make a fast, comfortable car with any headroom anymore.

Nice smooth ride but...

I got a good deal on used S60 T5 and overall its a nice ride. The only thing I'm not happy about is the EXTREMELY bad turning radius ( I had a BMW prior and the Volvo turning radius is like driving a go-kart in comparison to the BMW). My 2nd gripe is a nasty blind spot on the right rear side of the car. The interior is nice and the seats are extremely comfortable. The back seat leg-room is scant. Gas mileage is pretty good and the engine has GREAT pick-up (faster than my BMW actually). The AC/Heater controls are confusing. Don't know if I'm gonna keep this car for longer than 3 years. Might go back to BMW although car insurance is ALOT cheaper on the Volvo than on a BMW.

Bad service experience

The car had a back sound, like a rattle. I took it to the dealer several times and no one had an idea of what it was. Had to sell it. This was an expensive car. It was a S60R
