Absolute worst car Iβve ever owned
Bought used at 68k miles in early 2020. Just traded it in at 86k miles. In those 18,000 miles, I had a major electrical problem resulting in a door locking/unlocking by itself, a dead battery, and a window rolling down on its own, Also had faulty spark plugs, replaced intake manifold, replaced coolant hoses due to a leak, had to have a decarb service done, key that stopped working and spent $300 on a new one, so needless to say: STAY FAR AWAY FROM CCs!!!!!! Just a huge pile of you know what all around. To add insult to injury, the blind spots are the worst. Pretty sure these CCs have been discontinued anyway.

I love to drive this car but you need a fat wallet
Every few months something else costs $600 to $1200 to fix. It's a great car to drive over short hauls or that 11 hour drive to family.

MY BEAUTIFUL CC NETTYB
Allow me to start out by saying I LOVE MY BABY (my 2009 VW cc)! I bought my CC in 2018 from a car lot. It has black exterior and black and light tan interior! She's a beautiful sight to see. I can't see why the previous owner got rid of it. I am the second owner and the Carfax checked out perfect. It drives like a new vehicle. Here's how everything took place. My daughter and I went shopping for me a vehicle. We looked and test droved many vehicles but nothing was catching my eyes neither was I feeling the vehicles. Well, we had decided that we were done looking for the day and we'll go looking again tomorrow. But as we were getting ready to leave my daughter saw this car hidden in the cut as if they were trying to hide it. My daughter loudly said mom, look at that car over there how do you like it? I said OMG, it looks beautiful from here. So we got closer to the vehicle and it was history from that point on. I felt in love with it. But I had to make sure there wasn't any major issues with the vehicle. I test drove I test drove and I test drove it, I inspected it, inspected it and inspected it (lol π). I never owned a foreign car before. Before we started test driving the vehicle I asked the salesman if he can put more gas in the vehicle because we're gonna go for a long test drive (I was always told that they keep a small amount of gas in the vehicle to prevent the customers from wanting to test drive longer). I asked him why was the car hidden away? He said that a man wanted to purchase it but he hasn't came to do so yet. While I was doing the paperwork on the vehicle the man and his wife showed up to purchase the vehicle. They had some words with each other and I remember the salesman telling him " I waited for you to show up even tried to hide the car so no one could see it but you never showed up at the time you said you would so I had to sell it". Now back to my story. My CC was and still ranks at a top 10 from the inside and outside. It had over 100,000 miles and it runs like a champ. I did the normal things to it like changed the oil, gave it a tune-up. I did have an issue with the carbon buildup of which when I took it to Volkswagen they said it would be a 3,000 job. I said are you crazy and the devil is a lieππ I did some research on YouTube and discovered that I could put this stuff (I can't remember the name of the stuff I used) in the gas tank and the line to blow it out and it WORKED (cost a little over 10.00 dollars for a can). I had to replace a small hose leading to the radiator because it was brittle and it callapsed. I also had to replace the oil sensor which was a few dollars (VW said they would replace it for hundreds of dollars but I did it myself (very easy to do). I also had to have a bulb to one of the headlights replaced (I went on and let a shop do it for 40.00, VW said it would be over 100.00). Those are the only issues I've had with my beautiful CC. I get a lot of compliments from people all the time. People have even taken pictures of my CC. She's beautiful I tell you. People will often ask me, what kind of car is this I've never seen anything like it before, it is beautiful? When I tell them it's a 2009 they just cannot believe it. I have to admit, I ran across an amazing deal when I purchased my cc. I believe that the previous only used it to go on road trips alone because the back seats and the passenger seat looks like they've never been sat it at all. I keeps it very clean. When people opens the door to get in they say WOW this is a beautiful clean car on the inside and the outside. My CC is loaded with everything and I'm constantly learning more and more features about it. Yes I have the camera on the back. This is the best car I've ever own and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Oh, by the way she (NettyB my car) looks even more glamorous with her eyelashes. Yes you heard correctly, she wears eyelashes ππ.(eyelashes for cars). I will have to invest in getting some more tires in about another year. I love the fact that I don't have to pay to have my vehicle washed anymore because being a VW owner I get free carwash service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 2009 VOLKSWAGEN CC TO EVERYONE!!! Make sure you get a good one. Oh, did I mentioned that I work on cars myself? That's why I was able to do a good drive testing and inspection of the vehicle and the work that needed to be done. Go get your 2009 cc today! Agape Love to All!πβ€οΈ

I love this car. A poor man's Audi.
I have owned 4 Audi's including an A8. This car meets Audi standards without the high maintenance cost. It a good handling, well performing car. We have two cars, my wife is sick and not able to drive and she wants me to keep the other car. Don't let the 130k mileage influence you. This car has a lot of life left in it. Recent timing chain and tensioner is an added plus.

One of the best cars Ive owned.
The model I own is the CC Sport 2.0 t. I admit that I have a bias toward german engineering and this car does not disappoint. Although I only rated this car as a 4 star for comfort, I often drive it long distance (400 + miles) and have never had a sore back that couldn't also be likened to sitting in office chair for 4 or more hours. This car came equip with drivers seat memory, heat and lumbar support that actually works! my wife' Honda doesn't have that good of functionality. The gas milage (87-91 Octane) is surprising as well and, honestly, one of my favorite things about this car. Milage rates it at 21-29 MPG and I consistently get averages in the mid to higher 30's. recently on a trip of 399 miles through mountain passes and driving 85+ MPH I only used 11 GA of its 18.5 GA tank or 36.3 MPG. I bought this car specifically for its comfort and gas milage and was happily surprised at its winter driving performance. Ive never been stuck in it and never questioned its stability in snowy/Icy road conditions as long as you drive accordingly. Although Ive painted an almost utopian view of the CC, there have been issues, so all is not perfect with the CC (but close). Takata Air Bag Recalls (both front airbags) High pressure gas pump and control module (2X) and now the Crankcase Ventilation Valve (PCV) have all gone wonky. everything has been remedied under recalls except for the PCV but its under a $50 fix (shipping included) and is one of the easiest DIY jobs you'll ever do. This is probably one of my other favorite things about VW, many of the fixes are still DIY and plenty of information via youtube etc. on diagnosis and how to fix. There was one other issue but it was covered by VW under its 36 k mile bumper to bumper warranty AND completely my fault... it involved going too fast and something about the engine eating itself... However, on the new engine (75 k on it) all Ive had to do is change the oil and replace tires. Now having over 107 K Miles on it and, running strong, the only question I have for VW is, why did you end this model? Enter the Arteon... Its like a CC on steroids! So, if you are currently looking at buying a used CC Sport 2.0 l turbo AND all of the maintenance and or recalls have been completed, I can easily recommend buying it. Drive hard!

Sport Luxury
I purchased a used 2009 Volkswagen CC for my wife while I get some much needed maintenance done on our 2001 Monte Carlo SS. Was looking for a Luxury Sport so I did research on this car and found out that in Germany a Coup is determined by size and not by how many doors as in the US. This car comes with a lot of bells and whistles. I tuned up the car with new plugs and coils, easy change. Oil Change and other normal maintenance since there was no record. This carb has power in the acceleration and long drive. Handles very well, not as good as Monte Carlo in tight high speed turns though. Otherwise weβll built car!
