Excellent SUV to own
I used to had a Grand Cherokee and was totally in love with it, sadly I had to get another one and got a Murano after that. Even though the Murano is a really nice sport SUV nothing compares with the Atlas. It feels bigger than the grand Cherokee and even bigger than the Murano, more secure and overall great in all aspects.

My First SUV
The SE V-6 offers great style, comfortable, roomy, good value and excellent for a road trip. In city acceleration is a bit choppy and unnatural. Planning a trip back to the dealer to check the timing. Best V-6 MPG was 28 and average city is 21. I was up-sold to the V-6 for two reasons; the salesman told me that the engine noise from the 2.0 turbo was loud and that the trailer towing was reduced to 2000 lbs from 5000 lbs capacity. In addition, the V-6 models come standard with a class 3 hitch. Perfect for my bike carrying rack or towing a small to medium sided trailer. The Atlas shares the same frame as well as many internal components as the Audi Q7 at a fraction of the cost. It’s worth a serious look.

Great size and value!
This is a really great car. The size is perfect. You can fit 7 people very comfortably. I love the shape and styling of the exterior. It has everything on it you could possibly want.

Great Value, Poor Implementation
I wish I had bought the very base model and had all the convenience and electronics installed in the aftermarket. THAT would have been a GREAT value. Although this is a wonderfully handling road car with lots or room and a well appointed (though perhaps a bit teutonic) interior, most of its convenience and technology features function remarkably poorly. It's "app" won't even remote start the car even though one can do so with the fob (and you can buy an aftermarket device with phone app that will) and the memory seats are maddeningly inconvenient (not to mention that the seat itself is OVER bolstered relative to the poor performance characteristics of the vehicle and almost painful to enter/exit) ...and did I mention that the Owner's Manual is COMPLETELY worthless? I had great hope to drive this car indefinitely given that it came with a SPECTACULAR warranty and rock bottom loan rate ... NEITHER of which, of course, is going to be offered for 2020 and beyond oh well ... buy the base model ... add all the "stuff" you want to work correctly in the aftermarket.

This car is a total lemon 🍋 🍋
We bought this car in Fall 2018, 10 months and 25000 kmlater we've had to: Replace the batter Replace the catalytic converter Have the alignment done Had a recall work done Replace the brakes Replace the wipers This car is a lemon, I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. We have had it less than a year and already done more work that we did in 4 year leases with our Toyota's and Honda's. Parts are expensive and take a long time to get, we waited 5 MONTHS for our catalytic converter. The only positive thing I have to say is that it's pretty. The large sun roof is very nice. Otherwise this vehicle is completely unreliable. We'll go a few months with no issues, then we'll have to do a cluster of repairs. It's always a toss up as to whether the car is going to work today, or if we can get safely from Point A to B. We bought it thinking it was a step up from the vehicles we had previously, as the price point was certainly higher, but it was the exact opposite. I'm writing this review from the waiting room of the dealership now, on my SEVENTH visit for repairs outside of standard maintenance. Service Pig and a Money Pit, stay far away.

Better Fuel Economy than expected.
This HUGE vehicle when bought in the 2.0T engine gets WAY better than the online claim of 22 combined MPG. I drive equally highway and city with a ton of traffic and get at the least 25 mpg. At best I get 29, which is great. I can get about 480 miles out of a tank. Of corse I don’t blast the AC and I drive below the 2 RPM. Even when I don’t, I never get below 25 mpg. Coming from a gas guzzling Jeep I love this. My car is stylish, large, comfy, safe, and is saving me gas money!!!!!

It feels more expensive than what it’s
The Atlas meets all of our family needs. After we test drove the competition the Atlas came on top. We love the value for the money and the roomiest interior. We got the SE with Technology and it has everything we were looking for when it comes to technology in a car. The car feels solid and it drives great as well as it feels more expensive than what it’s. We have two car seats next to each other on the second row and a adult still fits next to the car seats. The standard remote starter is great to cool off your car during the Houston hot weather. As a youngster, I used to drive VW and Audi’s and the Atlas brought all of those feelings back! It’s a solid car and we are happy with the purchase. Also best bumper to bumper warranty out there.

SUV not a typical mall finder
Traded in a 2016 Honda Pilot cause it lacked an SUV character when it comes to ride, yes comfortable and maneuverable but they are for shopping malls and errands and long trips.. Atlas makes me feel I am in an SUV- big, heavy and somewhat rough which I prefer. Tons of cargo, smooth engine but could use more hp and torque. Got the 2019 FWD SE and Tech package, can't complain with Leatherette sits that are better at removing stains. So far so good but after this I might be done with Pilot for now. Test drove an Ascent and all the reviews about tranny made me think twice and the ride is more StationWagon than an SUV?
