2013 Toyota Tundra consumer reviews

Start with the negatives.. fuel mileage. Other than that i love the design, durability, and the dependability. The cab size on the crew max is phenomenal. The Tundra is (in my opinion) the best truck on the road.

We owned an older Tundra which ran perfectly until it rusted out which was terribly disappointing to say the least. But it was so reliable otherwise we decided to buy another one.

The best truck on the market I have owned Toyota since the 80'S and never had a bad one. The only slight negative is the gas mileage could be better.

I bought this truck new in 2013 and I am just writing this review (3/2018). I got the 2013 Rock Warrior with 6.5" bed and half doors in the back. Performance and acceleration are absolutely excellent. After 5 years with this truck I have had zero problems. I have done all required maintenance and just changed the tires and battery. Plenty of cabin room and the truck handles VERY well on the highway at high speeds. I tow a 6x10 and have had zero problems towing. Downsides.... the skin of the truck is thin and road noise is high. Scratches easily and my windshield broke on a rock hit on the passenger side after 3 weeks of ownership ( I was able to repair it). Inside needed to be more refined and the stereo was a joke. I installed an amp (under the passenger seat), sub that goes under the rear seat and new high-end head unit. Sound is good :) I removed the stock air filter and installed a K&N the first week of ownership. AC is outstanding and controls are all laid out well.

Lots of techy safety measures. Tons of leg room. Reclining back bench. Road trip worthy. Room for 6 adults comfortably

Truck is great heavy duty, way more powerful than expected, compared to my 97 dodge ram. It feels more like 2500 than i expected, but not to ruff. Still a nice ride. The 5.7 v8 dose not have a timming belt like the smaller v8 does. It cost about $1k to change the belt. So recommend the 5.7 fuel economy is similar in the 2 engines. Suposidley don't top off the fuel tank. Change the differential fluid and Transmision fluid on time and the engine oil on time. Should provide you years and years of dependable use.

It's been a great truck. It's had a couple of minor mechanical issues, but for the most part has been reliable. The fuel mileage is terrible, but it's got a lift so that is to be expected. Overall, I really like the truck. But I wouldn't recommend if you do a lot of commuting.

I love it! It needs my needs! Sporty and reliable! Interior is roomy and comfortable. Plenty of space and a big enough truck bed to haul what i want.

This truck has the needed interior room and capabilities to do what I need! Clean and sporty! I love it!
