Some Things to Know About The Tundra
The Tundra SR5 Crewmax 5.7 L V8 is smooth and powerful. Around town or on the highway you'll find yourself going faster than you think: It is that smooth! It is well equipped but I think Toyota could do better. Most of the controls are easy to maneuver and the backup camera is perfect if you need to mate it to a trailer by yourself. I'm within inches every time I hook up. Still, for all the Tundra brings to the party, it shouldn't compromise on bed length. A foot is lost to make a generous second row of seats in the Crewmax. Keeping the 6.5 foot bed should be an option like it is at Ford. I like the fully retractable rear window as compared to the "hatch" on the non-Crewmax Tundras. I equipped mine with step-boards and wouldn't do without them now. It's a hike up for an average guy or gal. Also, some of the radio controls are just out of reach in the cab. I find it funny that every dash light is orange except for the radio. The blue light of the radio just seems out of place with all that orange. It would also be nice to have the power seats on both sides and not just the driver's side. Also, no lighted vanity mirrors is a reminder that Toyota is struggling to deliver a fully equipped Tundra at a competitive price. Lighted vanity mirrors are standard in the Ford XLT 4x4 with a crew cab. The Tundra should already have Entune too! Some suggestions to consider when buying the Tundra include some form of behind the seat net for stuff, and seat covers. With seat rails for the rear seats underseat storage bins couldn't be found. Also, the fabric on the seats seemed less durable in my first impressions - hence the reason for seat covers. Overall, the Tundra is a worthy effort. It combines solid truck performance with a car-like ride. Only time will tell if it delivers as well as my last Tundra, or the one before that. My previous Tundra's sold well as used vehicles. That should help make a decision for a Tundra over the F150 an easier choice.

Love it so far.
I really went to the Toyota dealership to satisfy my wife, but I am so glad I did. The power of the 5.7 is awesome and the room in the rear seat is un-real. The fact that it reclines and the air conditioning vents in the back seat were the final deciding factors. I know it sounds silly, but I had narrowed it to the F-150 and Tundra. I was on the F-150 and my wife on the Tundra. They were very close and I actually took the Tundra to a Ford Dealership and practically begged a salesman to sell me a F-150. Unfortunately for him, he failed in his job and the Toyota guy did his exceptionally well. I still don't think there is much difference and fell pretty sure I would have been happy with either, but sometimes it's the little things that make the difference.

A well built truck
The top of dash LED info digits should definitely been in red rather than white. Can't even read them in daylight.

Awesome new truck! Came from a Tacoma
Firstly, I can say that moving from a Tacoma the first thing i noticed is, the ride is considerably smoother. The 5.7L V8 amazing, full of power and it's nice how the a bunch of torque is already there in the low-rpm range. Toyota makes incredible trucks and I'll for sure keep on using them. If you live in hot climates I HIGHLY recommend getting a truck with the tow package because you get a bunch of extra cooling you don't get in the non-tow package trucks. There is cooling for the transmission fluid, engine oil, and power steering. Currently I have 10k miles with no issues, i had an 08 Tacoma with 70k miles, never had any issues with that truck either.

What more can you ask for?
This is my 2nd Tundra. Traded in my 09' Double Cab for a 12' crewmax. Wanted the extra room for kids. My old truck was very very strong and 100% reliable. Cannot beat Toyota they do things right. The truck isnt the best riding on the market but I hate the boat-like chevy ride so the tundra is perfect for me. I tow 5000 lbs, 4 atv's with it and hardly have to get to 50% throttle. I think it's a great looking half ton, you cant beat the reliability or power.

New Tundra
This truck has more leg room than any other I have looked at (Crew Max) many safety features, wish the overall milage was better but it is a big block. Tons of power and great performance, has a tight turning radius and braking system is superior

Great Truck
This is my 3rd toyota truck in a row. I wanted a gas engine to tow an RV cross country. Toyota was the only one that had the towing capacity I needed with out having to go to a diesel engine. Although I looked at everything out there. I kept coming back to the Tundra. I know I wont regret my choice. Love this truck!

Great Truck
2012 Tundra Rock Warrior is a great Truck! Handles great, plenty of power, and decent off-road. The only complaint I have is the fuel milage is not that good, but then again, it is a 5.7l V8.

GREAT Truck!
Bought a 2012 Rock Warrior after owning a Chevy SS Silverado for 10 years. I've never owned any other make besides GM, but it was time for a change. The Tundra is just so SOLID, and has such GREAT performance, I haven't looked back. Try a Tundra... You won't buy anything else ever again.

Super Charged Rock Warrior Edition Tundra
A true beast with a supercharged on 5.7 liter engine. This is my third Tundra. I had an 01 Ivan Stewart package with 198000 miles then an 09 Rock warrior and now a 2011 Rock Warrior Package supercharged. The only thing I would change about this truck is interior finishes. Other than that I gave 5 stars to everything else. Power, Power, and power. With 510 HP you get from supercharger you can bit every other truck on the road even the Raptor that Ford is very proud of. Definitely, recommend it to those who are looking to buy a stylish, powerful, and reliable truck. You can always sell a Toyota with the best resale value.
