Sienna XLE, 2010
This ride has totally changed my view of minivans. Graceful in town, corners well in traffic and accelerates so smoothly at the onramps. It's highway manners remind me of some of Buick's full-sized sedans with a super charged V-8 powertrain. A pure pleasure to take on trips. Took ours on a 9-hr. trip to Nashville carrying 4 adults, all our luggage plus bulky items like folding tables and chairs, 50-gallon totes. Fold-away seating made room that we needed. The XLE's sound system was wonderful--even played CDs full of MP3 music. Toyota's ride and smooth power made the entire trip un-eventful for us.

Just what I was looking for
We were looking for a vehicle that would hold alot of kids be comfortable, reasonably priced, and had good gas mileage. The 2010 Toyota Sienna LE fit the bill for us on all four. It seats eight, averages 19 mpg in town, and the seats are more comfortable than other vans we looked at. So far we love it.

Third Sienna
Forget all the advertising hype about minivans. They are great all around vehicles for travel, hauling, and long trip comfort. This is the third Sienna I have owned, and except for deletion of a couple of features found on my last one (a 2005 Limited) due to Toyota's unfortunate cost cutting efforts, this one is better than ever. I test drove and read all the reviews about the 2011 model, and the consensus seems to be that the last generation (of which mine is the last model year) was superior in many ways. If you can find a low mileage 2010 model, grab it. Mine is a 2010 Limited AWD with all the bells and whistles, and so far they are all working flawlessly.

Can't speak high enough of it.
We weren't interested in vans to begin with, and were Honda drivers and happy with Honda. But when it comes to vans, the Sienna was far better in many aspects and the Honda Odyssey, for us personaly: more quiet, more features, better interior and better car for your money. Can't speak highly enough of the Sienna. And we bought a basic model not the XLE. Very happy with our purchase. Would recommend for couples with young children (2 and more...)

Went from an SUV to a Minivan unfortunately
Our family purchased a 2010 Toyota Sienna! It is very nice in the inside, and so smooth on the roads! Unfortunately, I miss driving my GMC Yukon, but used so much gas, so we had to get rid of it! Anyways, I am looking forward to the saving in gas in my new swagger wagon! I love the automatic doors, the sound system and everything! I am 6'2", so I have a hard time with leg space in the third row, however I have plenty of space in the front and second row! We have captains seats for the second row... I have to say, it makes it easier getting into the third row. Well, I am looking forward to keeping this minivan for the next 6 - 12 years! My GMC Yukon lasted me 11 good years! We also have an 2006 Ford Expedition, in which I am going to trade in another 3 years for a Toyota Landrover! Well, it was fun owning american vehicles, but now I am switching! So far, I am satisfied with it! Oh, get all of the warranties! They'll save you money. Plus, toyota gives you a loaner vehicle when you bring it into the shop! I hope this was helpful to those who read this! God Bless!

A Disappointment.
I purchased a 2010 Sienna Limited AWD last July. This was a replacement for my 2003 MPV, which we all loved, incl our daughter, who took it. We had an opportunity to buy used MPV, as Mazda discontinued it in 2006, but did not. Sienna is too long, with a long wheelbase , making it difficult to make tight turns. It shakes and rattles. The navigation system is a disaster, esp the radio. I had ipod interface installed, which must have been designed by an imbecile. The bluetooth phone connection is unreliable, temperamental. The radio, phone and ipod interface are non-intuitive, miserable and exasperating. I am sorry I bought this van.

Handles very well, lots of power
Steers better than my wife's Corolla because it's still hydraulic unlike the Corolla's electric assist. The V-6 engine has lots of power and I expect to tow a popup camper.

You get the most for your money with a Sienna
I looked at the Toyota Prius, Venza, & Highlander & found I could get more car for about the same price with the Sienna, plus the Sienna comes with great features & it's a very comfy ride, which is important to me. 5 star crash rating too...a very important feather! I almost purchased the Buick Enclave & looked at the Lacross & Lucerne, but since these cars are still hot, the local dealer wasn't able to deal, so I had to walk away. I purchased the 2010 Sienna in Jan 2010, when the new model 2011 were about to come out. The sales person told me I would get a better deal on a 2010 Sienna XLE Limited since that was all they had on the lot at the time, but a couple of weeks later, the new body 2011 model prices hit the internet & I found they were cheaper & had more features. Sales tatcic...probably. I am disappointed for the dealership not recommending that I wait a couple of weeks as I thought the 2011's would cost more, but I was afraid to loose out on the 2010 XLE Limited. Surely someone at the dealership had access to the 2011 Sienna prices since they received their shipment just 2 weeks later, but no one seemed to know. This is a major purchase for me & I plan to keep it for over 10 years. I traded in a 2005 Sienna for the 2010 & also have a 2000 Sienna, so we love Toyota Siennas. It's a very versatile vehicle & solid construction, but I feel they are overpriced. I think I was given a good deal, but believe they could have done better. I don't think I was given the best interest rate. Watch out for the extras (extended warranty, maintenance packages, exterior & interrior protective treatments, etc) when you sign the paperwork! I found that Toyotas dont' have very much warranty when compared to American made vehicles. New Toyotas only come with a 36 month/36,000 mile Limited Warranty. You have to pay extra for more Warranty, so be sure to add this to the price when dealing. I love my van & I'm sure you would love the Toyota Sienna also.

Sienna
I'm mostly very pleased with the Sienna. However, I have been disappointed with the gas mileage. Overall, I've averaged about 18 mpg and 21 mpg on the highway -- I was expecting more. Also, the rpms seem to fluctuate a lot on mostly flat roads. (Full disclosure: I've only had it for a month+ and only put 1600 miles on it. So, the engine may not yet be broken in.)

Navigation is defective by design
The Toyota Sienna's navigation system has a "safety feature" which is not advertised anywhere, it appears to be the least talked about safety feature of any vehicle on the market. When the vehicle is moving, the navigation and hands free phone controls are locked out. They don't trust that passenger can safetly change your destination with the vehicle moving. It was a waste of $2500. The voice recognition feature of the navigation system is mostly useless, out of ten times saying "home" it only registered correctly once. It doesn't work for my wife either. does anyone actually like and want faux wood trim?
