Great Vehicle
What a great vehicle. I ended up trading in my wife's 2011 RAV4 (non-hybrid) for the 2021 Highlander Hybrid XLE (AWD) because we wanted more cargo space. Our other vehicle is a 2017 RAV4 Hybrid, and after driving that for a few years I decided I didn't want to go back to having to refuel the tank every 10 days. At first I was a little skeptical of the gas mileage of 35 mpg city/highway claimed by Toyota because I was only getting about 29 mpg (all city driving). But at that point all my trips were just a few miles each way, which makes it difficult to maximize fuel economy. But then I started having to go into the office, which is a 12-mile trip and started averaging about 38 mpg. And that is better than what I had been getting with my RAV4 Hybrid. I find the ride to be very comfortable and quiet. It also has great features, and I especially like Android Auto, which has worked flawlessly for me. Just remember to use the USB data port with Android Auto or Apple Car Play, and not the charging-only USB port. The navigation on Android Auto works so well that I'm really glad I didn't pay another $1000 for the navigation system. Also, my wife had originally wanted bench seats, but the Highlander Hybrid we ordered came with captain's chairs. Now my wife is happy we got the captain's chairs because they are very comfortable. As far as performance, I'm happy with it. I haven't taken it on the highway yet, nor have I tested out the 0 - 60 mph acceleration, but I feel it has enough reserve power to get the job done. The engine does sound louder than the gas model, and that might turn some buyers off. However, given that I was driving a RAV4 Hybrid I probably got used to it. But it more than makes up for it when you're driving around town, which represents the vast majority of my driving, because then the hybrid is much more quiet than the gas-only model. The Highlander Hybrid has a lot of features that I'm still learning about, but I highly recommend this vehicle if you're like me and don't want to give the oil companies more of your money than you need to.

Comfortable and Great Ride
This car has plenty of legroom for everyone in my family. Plenty of drink holders and nice heated seats. Really wanted the Midnight Black but Toyota black had so many swirls in it, so I had to settle for Pearl White. Really like how clear the radio is.

I love hybrid and all wheel drive. It is 30 mph overall. I have never had any issue with Toyota. I hate to spend time and money from fox my car, so my choice is Toyota always.

Reliability and comfort
As a person with a bad back I bought this vehicle for it's soft ride and the hybrid mileage is also a comfort. Interior layout is very good, with (2) 110 volt outlets, numerous usb, superb sound and many more features. Acceleration is good, but won't win any races. Only drawback is different noises from engine / drivetrain, but still acceptable. Noises are under acceleration. Retired so use for around town and trips
