We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with

We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with just over 300K miles. I am certain it still has a long life ahead of it. It remains one of the most favorite cars we have owned. Over the years we took it on 5 cross country trips and it never missed a beat. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.

Great car

Have had a number of Toyotas and Lexus in the family. My primary car is '08 Highlander Base w/170k on it, super clean and runs like a clock. Wanted something fun and after about 3-4 months found an '07 SLE convert., in white with tan leather. Think I got a good one with 74k, on it. No engine leaks, trans. leaks, just did front brakes and will do rears in the fall. Comfortable, quality, stylish. Power is its biggest shortfall, but more than adequate. Transmission is not aggressive, but silky smooth. A laid back touring car. Car needed a good cleaning in and out. Just completed clay bar, polish and wax with marine grade paste wax. Clean and waterproofed the top with 303. Will have a new set of Pirellis going on when I'm ready. I have about $12k into it at present and that should do it. I think it's true that the older cars were better made and with less gizmos to go wrong. Think it's a good value with many miles ahead of me.

What a great not so well- known sporty car

Driving my 2007 SLE convertible for 16 years now, mileage more than 330000 and it still drives like new. Quiet interior, great drive and quite fast.

The Toyota I didn’t know existed, but glad I found

This car was ahead of its time. I didn’t know this car existed till I got the 2007 SLE V6 convertible when I was a teenager and I’ve enjoyed it since the day I’ve got it. Comfort: For a sedan, specially a convertible, this car has so much space. While the car only has 4 seatbelts, I’ve gone on vacation trips with 5 people and it was easy to fit all our bags and gear in the trunk and the riders were okay with the back seat space and nice leg room. Interior styling: With the installation of android/apple carplay and some refurbishment the interior of this car becomes comparable to that of many new cars today. This car truly inherited toyota’s timeless styling inside and out. Exterior styling: It’s crazy how a 2007 car can blend in so easily in todays cars line up, Idk many other cars from the 2000s that would still look in stile, and when you put the top down it definitely looks better than most cars on the road. Reliability: the best thing about this car is the reliability. For example, this car is 15y old and has no dash lights on and no issues, driving, electrical, or otherwise. A year ago, I hydroplaned my solara and hit the curve hard(30 mph) but after a trip to the mechanic it was running like new. As a teenager I pushed the gas on this car, cornered it, slide it, ran over speed bumps, even drifted it a little(in reverse) and this car this still runs fine today. Performance: The performance on this car is also very satisfying for the price, While the Solara is not a true sports car, is fun to drive. The Solara has light-weight steering, a quiet and smooth ride(specially with proper tires), and a good balanced suspension for everyday driving. The 3.3L V6 engine is a little disappointing, its only make about 200hp and you can’t feel the car & pick up or change gears, or anything, its just a nice comfortable ride, so you wont even feel when you’re going fast unless you have the top down. Now, I have been able to keep up with larger 3.8L V6 genesis(over 300hp) and V6 mustangs, and other similar cars on drag/dig races. So while you’re not going to be winning any races in a Solara you can definitely keep up with many other muscle and sports cars, which comes in handy when going on a car scene cruise. Value: The best part is that I was able to get my Solara $8k with 88,000 miles.

This is the most comfortable convertible!

I really hate to sell this car but I must to make room for other things in the garage. This is absolutely a dream convertible. Quiet, all the comforts, just a great all around vehicle. If I could hang a snowplow on it I'd keep it!

The most reliable coupe ever made

The reliability & value of this car is second to none. This car has AUX. The transmission is automatic & manual. The LED rear lights look bespoke. I'm 5'9" & this car is the perfect size for me. The traction is very good. Perfect for winters up north. The clearance is very good for a sports car. She will clear speed bumps no problem. The transmission is smoother than glass. The engine is also top notch. I couldn't ask for a better engine & transmission. The Solara is not only the best value compared to any vehicle, it's also the most reliable vehicle ever built in my opinion.
