Still getting nearly 40 mpg after 120k miles

I have owned the 2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid for 10 years and it is extremely reliable. I have 120k miles on the car. No major problems outside of replacing the front and rear brakes. The most I do is change the oil and filters as needed. I recently drove 550 miles on one gas tank in the winter! The worst thing about the car is the suspension. It does not have a cushy, soft ride over bumps. I spent money replacing the suspension with the 2016 Avalon Hybrid suspension to soften the ride, somewhat. It could be better. Also it cannot do tight turns and sometimes feels boaty around turns. But these are minor problems because I never have to take it to the shop for anything besides maintenance.

Not bad car but spendy hybrid battery!

This 2013 Avalon Limited hybrid was my car for 2 years with no issues. I didn't like the chrome trim on dash as the sun reflected and blinded me. Then I found out the hybrid battery could go out after 100,ooo miles at a cost of $4,000 to replace. Replace with a 2017 Buick LaCrosse and it is twice the car of this Avalon. Better ride, comfort, quiet interior.

Toyota has truly impressed me with this vehicle.

I purchased the Avalon used. It only had 13,000 miles. It now has 217,000 miles and still ride like I first purchased it. I have truly been blessed with this vehicle and would recommend it to anyone.
