2018 Subaru Outback consumer reviews

I have owned a Subaru Outback for the last 10 years. It brings me great joy. Has awesome power and great style. Plenty of space and so fun to drive.

I guess I needed more instruction on turning radio on. Very irritating for it to always turn on when car started. Trouble getting seat setting to perform. Overall we love it.

Battery started dying at about 4000 miles. Battery was replaced once and parasitic test were performed several times. Since the vehicle always passes the test the dealer will do nothing. They suggest that we don't drive enough even though we live 10 miles from anywhere and have not had a problem with our previous 20 to 25 vehicles.

I have owned a few Subarus in my time. Primarily Foresters, but recently an Outback. The vehicle spent more time in the shop than it did on the road. The vehicle had a lot of road noise and vibrations, front end issues, Starlink infotainment connection issues. The transmission went out at full speed on the interstate, bringing me to a grinding halt. Subaru did not want to consider the car a lemon after multiple issues, nor did they want to extend warranties on their parts. Instead, the corporate office sent me a vacuum. Vehicle had issues with wheels, wheel base, struts, etc...

This car met my needs for a all wheel drive in the Pennsylvania winters. It has the 6 cylinder engine but I now think the 4 cylinder would have been better for fuel efficiency. All the bells and whistles still need my learning to operate. The car is well built and comforytable

This car gives me all the comforts of heated seats, easy to operate radio, and other essentials like talking on the phone hands free. Like the safety features of lane crossing.

What a great find! I purchased a vehicle which was within my budget. It has most of the features I wanted. A safe and reliable vehicle that met all my needs.

The outback has the styling , size, features and all that I could want in a vehicle. The safety features are great and I enjoy driving again!

One of the few late model SUV's with a CD player. Smooth ride, excellent visibility, roomy and comfortable for driver and passenger and with ample cargo space.
