I have been very pleased with my Legacy in all ways after the first 2 mos. It is a comfortable and attractive car. I have the 6 cylinder with the Nav system, so I have great acceleration and know how to get where I am going. It is a roomy ride with smooth acceleration. The Nav system is complicated to master. The heated seats are a plus, but the heater apparently is so strong that my windshield cracked perhaps due to the change in temperature during a cold spell. Love the 4 wheel drive handling and extra features (backup camera, duel temp control, automatic lights, sat. radio option). So far so good!

2011 subaru legacy 2.5i premium

i wanted an all wheel drive which is reliable and good on gas. i read some reviews and test drove some cars and i ended up buying a 2011 legacy 2.5i premium w/ all weather package and sunroof. so far, no rattles as what i read on the reviews. smooth suspension, roomy. i`m getting up to 30 miles to the gallon on the highway and around 22/city which is not bad for an all wheel drive. i still have to get used to the power and acceleration because i also own a 2008 eclipse GT...

Great car, Great Value. Sad that it has issues

We have had our LGT for about 3 months. It's been at the dealership for most of 4 weeks having front end work done to attempt to mask a vibration/steering problem. Unfortunately it only got worse. Subaru has been outstanding, The service dept. at the dealership has been equally outstanding. They care, it's as simple as that. Not all LGT's have this problem only a small number. I am lucky in that they are making this right by offering a refund or swap. I came from a Ford where while under warranty I could not even get them to fix a rattle in the exhaust & cracked dash. Love Subaru...

very surprizing

I am so surprized by this car and brand. All these years I ignored my Mom's Outback and now I see what she loved. The Legacy is way more car than it's priced at. I'd stack it against any high end car out there. The reliability alone beats most. Once you have driven it in the snow or hills you really feel the love. I've never witnessed a more loyal owner base. Low volume, quality manufacturer and personal touch at the dealership level, I like that. Thanks Subaru.

AMAZING

Hands down best car I've ever driven/owned! The all wheel drive and handling is unbelievable and I will never go back anything but all wheel drive. I got the 3.6 R Limited choose not to spend the money on the Nav. Planning to install an after market DVD/CD Player possibly with Nav. This car is very roomy for my husband who's over 6 foot. I love Subaru as a company and this is my first Subaru and our family's 2nd after my husband bought a Forester 2010 I began looking at Legacy. You get so much for the money... luxury, all wheel drive. We've already convinced several people/friends to buy!

Brand Destruction

I want to like this vehicle, but I can't. Good engine, great interior, and idela seating. Fine at low speeds and on smooth surfaces, but front end vibrates, does not corner well, feels unbuttoned - even unsafe - all bumps in road transfer through the steering wheel and lots of road noise at highers speeds and less than smooth roads. Subaru knows there is a problem with three or so front end parts and they are shipping the replacement parts to dealers, but they are continuing the problematic production runs. Management should be fired before they destroy their brand. Risking their brand over some bushings is really stupid. Sounds like Toyota all over again. Buyers are at risk with this model.

What a Ride...

This is my 1st subaru of any kind, and I'll tell you what, I'm throughly impressed. Comming from a long line of domestic vehicles I had my questions and concerns. It took me all together too long to look into these vehicles, but once I finally made the decision to test drive one, the Legacy was by FAR above and beyond any one of the other vehicles I was in the market for. The mid sized sedan market covers many vehicles and make no mistake you will love the road handling "sure footedness" feel you will get from Legacy. The great comfort and excellent design of the interior was refreshing for a previous domestic owner and even out performed the other top imports I drove. From Ford, Chevy to Toyota, Nissan and all of the others inbetween there wasn't a match for the secure feeling you get from driving an AWD sedan. The balance and percise handling was second to none. Oh and not to mention the great gas milage on this AWD vehicle is very impressive. After 2500 ish miles I'm averaging (mostly city/suburb driving) 27.8 MPG. The Harmond/Kardon sound system is absolutly brilliant as well, a definate must upgrade option !! Also another availible option that is "must have" up here in the northeast is the A.W.P All Weather Package. Heated front seats, heated driver and passenger mirros as well as heated windshield wipers !! You can not go wrong with this vehicle. My only pet peev is that I should have gone with the 3.6 cyl or the turbo 4. It seems to be a bit sluggish at times and not as "snappy" as some of the other vehicles, but by no means was that a reason to shy away from all the positives this vehicle presents. Speacially for anyone that experiences an inclimate weather as we do in the northeast.
