pocket car
About the size of today's Fiat 500, but much better looking. Mine had the hideous baby blue color but other than that, it was rock solid. It lasted 3 decades on the original transmission fluid. Probably used it up by the 29th year on the street. Then it ran dry for a few months before dying at 59k miles. Inside the car still looked good, especially for its time. The car's outside held up well too. Even the a/c still ran decent. The carb on top of the engine is the only thing giving away its age. I had the fwd version, but everybody thought it was awd because it's a subaru. I would buy it again just for fun. But I would want manual trans. I hope subaru brings it back with some BRZness to it.

Love this car!! Motor in mine blew up a few months ago and i have been looking on ever since then. If you get a chance to buy one don't think about it just do it. This car with it's 4wd and short wheel base will go anywhere a truck or jeep will.
