2017 Subaru Crosstrek consumer reviews

I absolutely LOVE my Crosstrek. I bought a new, 2017 Special Edition Crosstrek in Feb 2017. My family has had many Subaru vehicles, multiple Outbacks, a few Forresters an Impreza sport hatchback and a Legacy sedan. While they were always reliable and long lasting, I never fell for any of the styles my family owned. When Subaru released the Crosstrek I was hooked! It was the perfect blend of hatchback, wagon and SUV. I had high expectations to say the least. With that said, I am IN LOVE with my Crosstrek. There is NOTHING I don't love, the compact size and shape allow for better gas mileage than my 2010 Toyota Corolla I had before. The 16 gallon tank really makes a difference, I can reach almost 500 highway miles on just 1 tank! The interior on the Special Edition is AMAZING! Racing pedals, red lights, black leather steering wheel and gear shift, and sporty black and gray upholstery are trimmed with red stitching. The special edition also included all-weather package, with rubber floor mats and cargo mat. The exterior has just as much WOW factor; black metallic paint was new for the Special Edition. It shimmers like black glitter in the sun, and BONUS: all emblems and model names are blacked out to match the paint. The extended spoiler and upgraded wheels round out the "cool" factor on the outside. The showstopper here is the performance, there is nowhere she wont go! whether off-road, winding mountain roads or high speed freeways, the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek will not let you down. Surprising power for a small car and the high torque engine provides more than enough for any activity or weather. When you go around curves, even at higher speeds, the car feels like it is actually LEANING into the road. The sportier the driver, the sportier the Crosstrek. There are not enough good things to say about this vehicle, I love it every single day!

Very practical, reliable car. Great in ice and snow and extremely dependable. I get about 31 mpg average. Not very sporty but I bought to ensure I get to work every day and that it does.

I purchased my 2017 crystal black Crosstrek January 2017. I love driving this car but it's the slowest in its class. I'm having problems with the paint chipping and scratching easy . I think the paints weak and delicate. all around my 2017 Crosstrek is this a common problem for the Crosstrek? I'm afraid what this car will look like a couple years down the road. I only have 9,000 miles on it. This will be my only new car I bought

I got the car for my 20 yr. old son who is in college. He drives about 50 miles a day and I am so impressed with this car. Great safety feature and milage. It's his second Subaru. They are so safe and economical with great styling. We've driven up to Lake Tahoe in the snow as well as out to the desert in the heat. Can't say enough about how happy we are with this automobile.

It took some getting used to because my previous car was a larger SUV, but this beauty is a sporty fun car with plenty of extras. Steering is really nice and smooth. Comfortable seats and easy controls, and nice extras like heated seats and mirrors. The all wheel drive and high clearance are great for snowy and icy conditions. If I wanted to throw in a complaint, it's minor but it has a loud seatbelt reminder that does not stop until you buckle up. Yes for good reason, but they don't have to be so obnoxious... Just a pet peeve of mine. Overall, loving my Crosstek! If you can swing a 2018 model, they are even better.

I loved this vehicle. Super fun to drive. Handles extremely well. A great car. A little smaller on interior room than what we would have liked and no vents for back seat passengers. A little pricier and not enough availability at dealerships.

Meets all of my transportation needs. Great Vehicle. I love driving it every day. Very comfortable, and easy to drive.

The car has everything I need and nothing I don't. Gives me the confidence I need to go out on the road

Vehicle handles well in the snow. The mileage is great. I had plenty of room to carry my tools and still had room for me and (3) passengers.
