Best car ive owned.

Owned my s series for a decade, changed the brakes once, and tires once in 200,000 miles. Oil changes and ran great until it was stolen. Own a camry now, and it, as reliable as it is, still does not beat my saturn.

Loved

Bought new & loved it!!! Never gave me any problems at all. Unfortunately, I was in a very bad accident, entire front end destroyed, totaled. No collision. Always had it but insurance convinced me to drop. But I wasn’t hurt at all. Seat belt & air bag saved my life, I even got out to see how other driver was. When it was towed , the driver told me other than the accident my car was in great shape. I went inside house, couldn’t watch it being towed away. I loved my Saturn! Never should have closed up!

Satia the 99 Saturn SL1

I bought this car used with 248,000 miles on it with the Engine and Trans numbers matching the vin. I have all the prior owners maintenance receipts, its ALL original except for Clutch, Alternator, water pump and starter, tires and brakes..with that being said I am now at 296,386 Miles since February 07 2019 and today is Jan.02.2019..Alot of using this car AS my primary mode of transportation DAILY..I have went across the U.S. Twice from Florida to Denver Colorado without any problems at all.. I have only had to do small maintenance: Oil Changes every 3000 miles, 2 light bulbs and new tires and occasionally CLEAN and ReLube the door locks and hinges and hood / trunk locks. I would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND A SATURN SL (1) series ..after having owned around 23 different vehicles, this particular car is by far the most dependable one ive had. Far better than the Japenese models with their feeble timing Belts...These 1.9 Liters use a Timing CHAIN..far. Superior to a belt that wont warn you before breakage. I currently have NO ISSUES and am planning a trip to Back to Florida in a few days. I paid a whopping $400 cash for this car..Most 400 dollar cars wouldnt be this Dependable and with a lovely 34-37 MPG HWY and 26-28 city at this higher mileage. I Run what ever the speed limit is and then some 80 ish. Lol... 1999 Saturn SL 1 , 1.9 Liter SOHC (L24) 5 Speed MP2 Manual Trans, Power Steering, Hydraulic Clutch, MANual Window cranks and locks. Even the Stock Cassette deck still works...

bought my 1999 Saturn SL2 new with 34 miles on it.

It now has 120000 miles on it and still runs like new. Only maintenance I have had to do is I had all the hoses and plugs changed, not because they were a problem, just getting a little old and I did not want to be out on the road when/if they busted. Brakes replaced once. That's it. Have kept the oil changed regularly. When I bought it, oil changes were free from Saturn. When they went belly up, freebies stopped. Love this car and will drive it until I can no longer drive. (I am 80 now so it might not be too much longer)

Brand new owner of a 1999

I just bought this car with only 99,000 miles on it and it is beautiful!!!! I wish the steering wheel adjusted higher, but that's my only complaint. I'm going to have the engine mounts checked tomorrow because it does rattle a bit.. but I am SO happy with this purchase!! Especially after reading all of the reviews!!! I love my Emerald Queen!!!❤❤❤

Super fast and reliable. Sunroof needs motor but the view is still great! Only the drivers seat has some tears but not to bad..Comes with front seat covers but they are optional.
