Really great car

Drives very well. Few problems with this make/model and expecting a long life out of it. Nice interior, auxiliary plug in, car charger works when car is off

First car I've owned

This vehicle was 3.5k and I've driven it for nearly 3k miles. I prior to buying this car had never driven a manual transmission before so this was a learning experience but my Saturn Ion 3 was not too hard to learn with. Still got a lot to learn but she still drives. Sometimes get 35+ mpg and others around 30 but that is 90% highway. I'll chock that up to inexperience with manuals and unnecessary maneuvers. I am enjoying my Ion it goes once it's got the right rpm.

I love my Saturn!

This car is reliable, affordable, and drives well, even handling fairly well in a very snowy climate. I wish Saturn was still making cars so I could have one forever!

It gets me where I need to go.

This car is my secondary vehicle, which remains parked most of the time, however when I need it it is available. It's reliable and utilitarian.

Money Pit

6 months after purchase I had to replace the head gaskets, oil squirting out of engine. Dealership and manufacturer would not provide repair under warranty with only 51000 miles and 3.2 years old.

This car was a beast. Never had any problems

This car was mainly used for work and I would still be driving it if it weren't for a deer. This car never had any mechanical problems. I had 134000 miles on my first clutch. Wish Saturns were still being made. I would have been a customer for life

It was good for a while..

I bought this car used 4 years ago. It ran pretty good for a while and gets excellent gas mileage. But about a year ago everything started breaking. I've had non stop issues with the clutch, everything having to do with the clutch system has now been replaced. The gear synchronizers in the transmission need to be replaced as well . I'm not sure if it's because of the age of the car or because it just doesn't hold up well, but it seems it's been needing repairs once every couple of months for the last year.
