Non-stop issues

From day one, this truck has been a comedy of errors. I have no idea what system/control it was, but right off the bat my interior lights and guages were flashing in ramdom patterns while the truck sat off, key out of the ignition, no contact with any controls being made; also, the headlights flickered. Updated under warranty. Headlight issue resolved, interior light issue subdued, but still present. Next was a binding/clicking sensation coming through the steering wheel. Three visits and two installations of incorrect components finally led to replacement of the steering box. Warranty covered it....THREE visits worth. Next was a failing/malfuntioning cruise control switch. Replaced along with the recall update for cruise. Next was recall for the tailgate latch (update/repair) and autopark functionality (U07). .....to be continued.... All along this truck has shifted weird, specifically down through first when coming to a stop, often jolting hard enough to move my body in the seat. Dealership will not acknowledge, claiming the OBDII not throwing any tranny codes must mean it's fine. .....now the fun part: since the U07 update, there have been constant random and erratic symptoms: bogging hard before MDS mode moves to 8 cyl mode; loss of power; misfire coming and going on one side of the motor; clicking in the dash when I shift from neutral to any gear; delayed throttle response; so on, and so on. I've had to open a case with Chrysler to push a dealership to acknowledge these problems. If this doesn't tend the matter, a lawsuit will ensue. Point? The Lemon aside, Fiat/Chrysler's approach to business and customer care is atrocious. I'll never do business with them again.

Great truck!

Truck is more than expected. Just drove it to Monarch Mountain and back with no problem and decent gas mileage for a Hemi. I will keep it for a long time.

Ram trucks are great

First Truck I've owned and I don't think I made a mistake. It's a good looking, loaded truck. It is comfortable, rides very smooth, and isn't hugely depressing when it comes to gas mileage. I would Def. Upgrade it to a newer model if I could afford it.

Great styling and comfort, power and performance.

Ram trucks have always been a leader when it comes to style and comfort. With a Hemi engine, it's hard to beat it for power and performance. Reliability was in issue in 2013-14, with some carry over into 2015. The 2016 should prove to be better in that aspect.

Love the Rams. Reliable and will continue to buy them. Had great experience on trade number for the old truck. Great number on my new one.

Great Truck

This Ram 1500 has been totally reliable, comfortable, and economical on fuel. The 5.4 V-8 has all the power you need and is good on gas, 22 MPG on trips, 18.7 Average.
