6th Porsche
This was the 6th Porsche that I've owned: priors included Carrera S, Boxster, Boxster SE, Cayman. With only 22k miles had to immediately replace the clutch switch and tires.....otherwise, a great car!

This is my third Porsche Cab. Best looking and handling. Just getting to know all the intricacies of this Carrera 4 S. Love everything so far. Looks great-Macadamian Brown metallic. People stop me to admire it.

Nine Eleven S
This 2008 Cobalt Blue 911S is my 10th Porsche and may well be the best. The interior is beautifully designed and the quickness makes it soooo fun to drive. Highly recommended.

2008 911 Targa 4S
Excellent car all the way around. Interior is all leather and well stitched and detailed. I would definitely go with the 4S or S for the higher output and the 4S has the wider body.

Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet
If you want a performance sports car that is comfortable and reliable and fair inexpensive to maintain, this car is a gem. Its only draw back is for the money the car cost, nobody really looks at it. Its very ordinary in appearance.

2nd Porsche
I started with a 996 '99 Cab and loved it. Was hooked on Porsches immediately. I didn't think I could have more fun than I did with that car. Then I bought my '08 Red Cabriolet. It is perfect! Fit and finish are incredible. Great manual transmission. Interior is far superior to the 996. And holy cow is it fast. You stand out in a red car, but this one turns every head. Like Queen sang - "I'm in love with my car!". Once you experience a Porsche, you will be hooked for life!!

Refinement and prestige
Yes you can probably find a few cars that are faster. But I'll bet you can't find many that are as refined and possess the prestige that this auto does.:)Incredibly well thought out.Hard to beat a vehicle like this .You have to drive it,and you have to drive it hard, to appreciate the Porsche engineering.

GT2 is a 10.
The handle of this car is superb. Power is second to none. The styling is fitting for this production race car. A more reliable car can't be found.

A Porsche for your Porch
Let's just start by saying it really depends on the model you own. The base $75,000 911 Carrera gets blasted to 60mph in 4.7 seconds, which is not exotic but high-performance. Luxury features are abundant, including remote start, a navigation system, power seats, heated and cooled leather seats, heated leather steering wheel with radio and climate controls, an 8-disc CD changer, premium sound system, heated cup holders and some more. Then you get up to the R8 competitor, which is the 911 GT3, the 3rd most powerful model and 4th most expensive. 415bhp blasts the GT3 to 60mph in 4.1 seconds, so it's slightly below the R8 in performance, but also slightly less expensive, with an MSRP of about $4,000 less (2009). Then you have the exotic and ultimate exotic cars, the 911 GT2 and the Carrera GT. An impressive 530bhp blasts the GT2 to 60mph in 3.6 seconds, though the price is awful, at an MSRP of $193,000. That's about $50,000 overpriced. However, the GT2 is VERY luxurious, VERY quick, and even more reliable than the other modls. The most exotic absolute monster race car is the Carrera GT, competing with high-end Ferraris and Lamborghinis. The GT gets to 60mph in just 3.4 seconds, and has a top speed of 212mph. It's the most luxurious, with impressive luxury features including a voice-activated navigation system, voice-activated start-up, voice-activated radio with a premium sound system and 14-disc CD changer, voice-activated heated and cooled seats with massage, and a heated and cooled leather wrapped steering wheel with radio and climate controls. 911 models have reasonable pricing, lots of luxury, and lots of speed (depending on the model), but safety-wise and bling-bling-wise, I would take the Audi R8 over the Porsche 911 GT3. Overall, the Carrera is a good (not excellent) car.
