INCREDIBLY Beautiful Car!

Words do not do it justice. This car is simply stunning visually, growls delightfully, and it's a dream to drive, incredibly responsive and shifts so smoothly. After a lifetime of exceptionally cool/classic/prizewinning cars - I do believe this one will turn out to be my all-time favorite. My apologies to my Jaguar clubs!

Beautiful and reliable car. Highly recommended.

The car had an upgraded color. Upgraded Bose sound system. Beautiful Beige interior. Upgraded matching colored roll bar. 19 inch wheels, many upgrades and very user friendly.

The fastest car I owned

The car is fun to drive, fast and sooo direct. It is reliable - German engineered - every piece fits. It‘s convertible and even in the snow a good car with the weight of the engine on the rear axle. I love it!

Just FUN!

I only have 14k on this car, but I use as a daily driver to work. It is my second Boxter my last one was a 2011. This one is lower to the ground, faster and a much better looker from the backside in my opinion...I do miss the growl from my 11, but the different in get up and go far exceeds that engine noise. this is just a fun car to drive.

Beautiful car with outstanding performance!

The car only had 1,082 miles at delivery and thus far I've only added another 505 miles. Therefore, the car is still short of the 2,000 mile run in interval, so it can't be pushed hard or run over 4,000 RPM. Aside from great looks, it is amazingly tight for a convertible (more so than any I've ever owned or driven), extremely agile (handling is intuitive, like my hips are the pivot point...thank's to the mid-engine layout), and sounds hostile in sport or sport+ mode. I would make the same decision in a heartbeat!

Fun car

I used to have a miata (C generation, 6 speed manual, limited slip diff) and currently also have a 2 series BMW convertible. This car exceeds both by a substantial margin. Exterior styling very nice, interior is classy but snug. Engine is fabulous. Since I didn't have a prior generation, the perceived difference in sound that some complain about is meaningless. In fact, I prefer my sports cars to be quiet but fast. Excellent fuel economy - I got 31mpg on a 1000 mile drive averaging about 75mph. I have the S version with auto. Car flies if I ask it to. No problems at all. Steering wheel controls are very nice. I also have the connect option, but oddly have to plug the phone in instead of just bluetoothing. Only other 'issue' is that in daylight, half the gauge set does not light up, a Porsche thing, but odd still IMO. I find the Bose stereo very good. Rooms front trunk, smaller back one. I intend to keep this car for a long time, and truly enjoy it thus far.

The 718 Boxster - A Fantastic Vehicle

Firstly, the 718 Boxster is a phenomenal car. There has been some debate around the introduction of "4 Cylinder" engines to the mix, but when the base model is able to crank 300 HP from a 2.0L H-4, that alone is more than sufficient. While there is not the same level of exhaust noise as in prior years, the car still packs a punch and delivers a pleasing level of exhaust noise when accelerating/idling. Acceleration is ample with the base model, 'Sport' mode further enhances tuning and makes the car that much more fun. Steering and handling is superb all around, with the car owning turns smoothly, and braking is impressive from higher speeds. Aesthetics are true to the brand and maintain the simple elegance Porsche is built on - with nice modern amenities like LED lights, the vibrant interior touchscreen borrowed from the 911 line-up, and the ability to really make the vehicle "your own" through the dozens upon dozens of options, add-ons and other ways to customize. While the interior can be somewhat basic (upgrades add up very quickly as expected), it is more than sufficient and offers some neat available features. Surround sound system is definitely worth it, as is the heated multi-function steering wheel. Lots of available options, but parring back those that are "non-essential" can help. Overall the 718 Boxster is a Car & Driver "10 Best" and "Editor's Choice" for a reason - it is an example of perfectly combining aesthetics, technology, and performance. Very happy with the car!

Pure Adrenaline Fun

I love the Boxster 718...faster than 2011....and while the engine does not have that deep growl....it still has enough growl...and the power punch far exceeds....I get lots of looks and compliments....this is just pure fun....drop the top in seconds...and look like a million dollars...
