My Grand Prix GT

My 07' Grand Prix GT still going strong in 2023 with 10100 miles on it (low for its age). The GT had the supercharged version of the 3.8., has every option other than OnStar, stealth gray exterior, 10 spoke wheels, all charcoal leather interior. Other than regular maintenance and the normal wear items it has only had a check engine light come on once in 16 years, codes revealed a TB circuit failure, and a 150.00 throttle pedal fixed the issue. Minor issues are soft trim parts are failing and no replacements are available to be had. GM should have killed the Buick instead of Pontiac, after all it brought more to the table than Buick did. To this day still gets the 18mpg the EPA suggested in 2007.

Best car I owned

The first car I ever owned, powerful, comfortable, but without a lot of features in contemporary cars. No aux cord, no backup camera, definitely no Bluetooth. The 3.6L Supercharged V6 in the GT was a dream to drive, the whine of the supercharger spooling ingrained in my memory. I had a few reliability issues, having the serpentine belt fall off while driving and having to replace the water pump as well as having a hole pop up in my muffler which I never got fixed due to totaling the car.

At 245,000 and going and going

Owned it since about 25,000 miles. I'm at 245,000 and counting. It's a GT, 3.8L supercharger with leather, heated seats and remote start. Engine and transmission have never had problems - but I've done all the preventive maintenance.

Most enjoyable car I’ve ever owned

This car has plenty of power with its 5.3 V8 but enough room for 5 people and stuff in the trunk. You get all the power of a sports car and the versatility of a 4 door sedan. This car still looks beautiful and performs like it’s brand new.

a high performance sedan

This is a very sporty and muscular sedan. its got the V8 rumble and throttle response which makes it an absolute blast to drive. its got a lot of sedan conveniences like spacious rear seat and big trunk.

Total junk

Owned it 2 months and the transmission went out. Was told it's a broken band and a common problem. Do not reccomend very unreliable. Waste of money

2007 Pontiac Grand Prix!

Good running car, a few necessary repairs but overall very good! Comfortable and drives well! It is a shame that GM dropped Pontiac from its production line.
