Worst car in snow to drive and many recalls
For most part the car is good-enjoyable in non-winter months on clear roads . I bought it used last year, and noticed it seemed sluggish for acceleration. Changed air filter and cleaned mass air flow sensor and vacuum lines and ran like a top. Then rolled down back passenger window last winter and would not go back up.sigh.had a friend fix that. Now I'm scared to roll it down since this is also one issue g6's have commonly-power window goes to crap and stuck with window down.anyway that's pretty minor. But this is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST car I have EVER driven in snow-at least in rear wheel drive older cars you at least still are able to move around somewhat lol.Not this one.Even in a couple inches this car is AWFUL.Its unable to get through couple inches even- without getting stuck repeatedly. Its ridiculous how low the front end is and apparently cannot handle getting any type of traction with newer drive tiresup front.ive had to take floor mats out and stick under wheels to get I'm stuck regularly-very very VERY frustrating. ZERO traction to get out of a few inches of snow. So once you get going - just keep going otherwise it will once again sit and spin- even with traction control off or on even.I live in MN.This year we got alot more snow than last year, so it has been a bigger pain in the xxx.If the road is covered with a few inches even- good luck or just stay home. Now the power steering in my 4 cylinder g6 is out- looks like there is massive number of recalls for steering and EPS controller and sensor, as well as torque sensor. It had the engine light come on after I got an oil change-thought maybe it was due to that and would reset- but it's been on for couple weeks. After we had cold snap and snow recently, the power steering I figured probably was harder to turn when it would randomly happen thinking it was cold weather maybe thickening steering fluid up so not flowing right through pump-or with a bunch of snow and ice packed in wheel well maybe less room for tires to turn & making car harder to steer-it would randomly steer harder. It was doing this off and on now for last couple of days where you start it up and drives fine until it doesn't and you are using all of your weight to pull wheel down to steer car or while driving slow trying to turn-it again SUCKS to have this issue in winter on snowThe dash said nothing of check power steering so when it flashed on menu display figured I was prob low on fluid-to my surprise this is first car I've owned that has no peer steering pump to add fluid-but since it's a 4 cylinder- it's got the electric automatic steering (EPS) just looked up what is maybe causing it if not a fuse and see whole page of recalls from tranny issues to the EPS and torque system.so hoping the GM dealer like it says will replace issues- looks like some issues will be fixed by dealer for life of vehicle. So hope it is valid they do!

The car I bought was used, only one previous owner here in TX, mileage was only 98000 and SUPER CLEAN on the inside and outside. For the money, it was an excellent choice!

Has been a great reliable car for me for 7+ years.
This sharp-looking dark-blue car is in very good working condition. The engine and body are in great shape. Perhaps a small dent/scratch or two on the doors but not too noticeable. It has recently been fully detailed, inside and out.

I would drive this car for years
Pontiac built a great vehicle when it came to the Pontiac G6. Even with only a 4-cylinder engine, the car had power to it, and great gas mileage. Test driving this car, I found it to be a very smooth and comfortable drive.
