Most Reliable Car I've aowned

Only required regular maintenance. Never broke down. Drove from 20k miles to 190k miles. Took long trips in it. Very smooth on road. Has power and excellent steering. Hold the road. the vehicle is hard to drive in snow and rain. It sits very low to ground so must be careful.

Reliable, Fun Car

I used my Firebird as a daily driver, and it suited me just fine. The car is fun to drive, and easy to work on if you like that sort of thing.

Good platform for a performance build

Great car. LS motor and t56 transmission are a great combo. As most older cars improvements can be made to the suspension. Fun to drive and build over time. Nice combination of old and new.

Fun, Affordable, Timeless Style

I bought a 2001 Trans Am 5.7L Automatic in 2009. The paint wasn't perfect, but looked great despite some clear coat loss on the front bumper. The design of this model has yet to look "old" to me, and it still catches the same attention now that it did the first day I drove it home. The interior (dash, doors, and seats) are sun-damaged and cracking, but that could be expected with the exposure from the large sloped windshield and t-tops. I have had to replace a few light assemblies in the last year and the car does have an oil leak at the rear main seal. However, this car has never lost its gusto and still fun to drive, handles well, and is easy to work on at home. Love, love, love it.
