Best Vehicle I've ever owned!

This is a newer car compared to my 2008. It has all the bells and whistles and power to boot. I am absolutely in love with this vehicle.

not worth it's weight in scrap

Nissan should stop making anything with a CVT and do the world a favor. This is by far the WORST VEHICLE OF ALL TIME. If you want a lemon, go to the grocery store.

Frequent and expensive repairs

In March 2018 I bought used Nissan Pathfinder 2015. At that time this vehicle had 63,000 km on it. I own this vehicle for 1.5 years. During this time total repair costs were $6,280: - March 2018: $180 – replaced drive belt - May 2018: $3,500 – replaced AC evaporator. There was only one OEM evaporator in Canada. When it was brought and installed, it turned to be defective. After that another after market AC evaporator was installed instead. - June 2018: drive belt was replaced again - September 2018: radiator fan needs to be replaced. Fixing costs were just over $1000. - August 2019: HVAC block started leaking. Fixing cost is $1,600. I contacted Nissan in Canada and Japan. Nissan Canada replied that maintenance is key to maintain reliability. Sure, malfunctioned AC evaporator, defective radiator fan, leaking HVAC block – all of them require a lot maintenance. I am not sure why Nissan Canada lies like that. Nissan Japan offered a $100 gas card. Sure, $100 gas is going to help a lot with repair cost of $6,280. I asked Nissan to recognize this vehicle defective, but Nissan refused to do this. So, it means that this is normal Nissan quality. You decide if you are interested in such “quality”. I also checked how customers are satisfied with Nissan Pathfinder on Consumer report: 2017: 3 out of 5 (when I bought my 2015, it also had higher rating – it decrease over the time) 2016: 2 out of 5 2015: 1 out of 5 2014: 1 out of 5 2013: 2 out of 5

My wife loves her new Pathfinder.

As my kids grow older, we needed a bigger vehicle. We went from a Rogue to a Pathfinder with a 3rd row. We have so much more room now.

Great car for the money!

We were happy with the price, though there were def. some compromises with the car such as there were several dings in the car;s exterior, one door was keyed. No heated seats, no seat position memory, no leather, cloth seats weren't in great shape, small tears here and there, no auto latch on the back door, etc. But the price was right and we were happy with the purchase.

My vehicle

Love it, feel so comfortable driving it. I was wanting something bigger than the Altima I was driving. Feel so much safer and it’s very economical.

Very nice SUV

Despite the fierce competition, and I've tested various other makes, this car is very balanced as far as comfort, handling, response, interior and exterior styling. Powerful engine too. Gas mileage could and should be better, but I guess we can't have the best of both worlds.
