Sadly The Last Great Pathfinder

I’ve owned my 2011 Pathfinder SV since 2013. It was bought with 13000 miles and it ended with 170,000 miles when I was t-boned by a distracted driver. It’s been very reliable but does get terrible mpg. I’ve replaced the brake pads twice, 2 calipers, the left side exhaust manifold, ball joints, tie rods, front drivers side speed sensor, and the crank shaft position sensor. I was able to do all these repairs myself outside of the manifold and speed sensor which cost about 1k. I’m currently looking for another one of these because I liked it so much. It’s a shame they changed them to unibody in 2013 and had all kinds of tranny issues otherwise I’d be looking at a newer model. For your money the 2010-2012 Pathy is a rugged reliable SUV. Forgot to mention I towed a 20ft fiberglass Baja pleasure boat with it for 6 years! It mever missed a beat… well other than getting 10 MPG when towing the boat.

Great family SUV!

This car never give us any problems, plenty of legroom and 2nd and 3rd row are foldable like a tent inside! Well maintained by Nissan, all records available upon request.

Why did Nissan ever change this truck

I have owned my Pathfinder for 7 years and put 189500 miles on it with only regular maintence and one $800 repair. Wow! Why did Nissan ever change it? This is our third and last Pathfinder as we need/want a vehicle on a truck frame. Truck is great in snow and ice, works in the pasture dragging fence, and cleans up to go downtown Metropolitan city and park in tight spaces. Middle row is okay, now that kids are teens it's a bit tight for my 6' son but has been a dream until now. Love it in every way, visibility is good, plenty of power on interstate. Gas mileage as expected for what it is....avg 18.5 with equal mix of in town/interstae driving and lots of waiting in line at fast food. So sad Nissan changed it, like I said, our 3rd and last Pathfinder 🙁. Rear air and DVD have been great and love the music box feature that stores all your music. Seats remain comfortable and haven't broken down even with all the miles.

So far so good.

I believe it will meet my needs. Needed an SUV that had towing capability. This one will tow 3500 pounds. Hopefully that will get me by.

Best car purchase!!!

Bought this truck about 2.5 years ago. What a good decision. I bought a 2011 with 60,000 miles. I've yet to come across something I really dislike. It's large, the ride is ok, but it's a truck. If your purchasing a vehicle like this you really shouldn't be considered that much with the ride, but the pathdiner is surprisingly smooth and planted on nice stretches of highway. Nissan's 4.0 engine is truly a workhorse! We tow a 14 foot trailer with 2, 500lb snowmobiles frequently. You'd never no you were towing from how smooth and powerful this V6 is. Transmission gives nice quick shifts, and when you need power there is plenty of it, and then some. I'm expecting to have this truck for the next 10 years from how durable and reliable its been. Mpg is ok for a vehicle this large, I average around 20-21 combined. You will not be disappointed if your looking for a nice, large, stylish, on frame 4x4. It makes a wonderful family car as well.

Heavy duty SUV with lots of room and power!

Awesome truck! Great for family trips and towing the toys around! Very reliable with only a few flukes regarding the electronics.... like not keeping time correct on the clock or screen dimming during the day and bright at night. Other than that, would buy again!

LOVE OLDER STYLE PATHFINDERS

We love our older style Pathfinder (05-12)!!! Second one we have owned. They are safe, reliable, and hold there value. Recently totaled our 2010 when a non insured driver pulled out in front of us at 55 miles per hour. No injuries!!! Plus the value was still more than we owed. Bought another one. Love the space and ride it provides. Only downside is gas mileage. About 16-19 miles per gallon.

Sleek, comfortable and tough!

My husband kept saying it?s a 4x4 it is meant for off road. During the last winter we had we really put it to the rest and it was like driving on dry pavement! Awesome!!! Long or short trips this is a comfortable ride. Lots of storage room with fold down seats. The leg room is a little tight in the third row but our kids seem to fit just fine with out any complaint.

Awsome!!

I'm so impressed with its ability that I'm writing a review. I don't do reviews. We accidentally ended up on an 18 mile ATV trail pulling a 14 foot camper with a reversed Axel. Most difficult rating for ATV's. We could not go back so we had to keep going. It got so bad that we thought for sure we were going to have to dump the trailer to get out. We made it out with no damage to the car at all. The trailer took a bit of a beating but not the car it pulled like a champ. We were absolutely amazed every time we got through a tuff spot.
