Nice car!

I love all the options. Traction control not provided... But I think its not all that necessary. I would have liked to see more wood grain as there is none on the front dash. Overall really nice ride that has been very reliable and I believe it will be for many years to come.

Simply awesome!

I bought mine 04 sl used and It's been great for the year that I have owen it . A couple of negatives thought like others have said, the turning radius it's horrendous and the suspension it's hard at low speed but the car's power it's insane and the torque, it's got a huge trunk and that works for me since I got a double baby stroller. Highly recomended for people with families that want a sport sedan.

The best car I have ever owned

I really like the power, the style and the comfort of the 2004 Maxima. The turning radius is not very tight. I love the interior, especially the split bucket seats in the rear. The car came with everything anyone could ask for except Satellite Radio. On the 2004 Maxima, it has a SAT button, however one cannot purchase an in dash unit. In order to get Satellite radio, you must purchase an after market one. Other than that, the car is great. I would recommend this car to anyone who wants to have fun driving.

Most fun for the money!

I bought my 2004 pre owned and it is a very comfortable and fun to drive. Very quiet, handles exceptionally well and has acceleration beyond any Arizona mountains daunting climbs. I am looking forward to many years of continued highway pleasure. Traction control is the one option I deemed important and missing and thusly gave features a 4 star rating as Nissan should make this a standard. They went all the way on this Maxima, why shortcut anything!

Great car

The skyview roof is neat with the 4 bucket seats in the Elite Package, GPS and the sound system add to the fun and functionality. Great power. The turning radius is too large and the crushed velour used to save leather on the doors and some other areas is so-so. Fun to drive and very reliable.

Most powerful and reliable vehicle.

All power options! Maximum safety and economy! Redesigned and more upscale than ever before, the 2004 Maxima re-emerges as the car it used to be - one of the best combinations of performance, luxury and value in the midsize segment. It arrives with a roomier interior, lots of upscale options and a V-6 that purrs. It bounces back in its original role as Nissan's "premier" car, second only to the Z in name recognition.
