Most Reliable Car I've Owned

This car has been outstanding. This is the second Nissan Altima I've owned and I have nothing negative to say about either of them. Excellent cars. I highly recommend them.

Bought brand new. No real issues with it

I purchased this vehicle brand new. Right now we have over 206,000 miles on it. So far, the big repairs have been the alternator, catalytic converter, and a power steering rack that would have been real expensive but was covered, fortunately, by the warranty. I know there are some people talking about the CVT transmission. So far, no real issues. It did go into Failsafe mode once while climbing a steep incline on the Penn. Turnpike in the middle of the Summer. It did cool off and recover. I service the transmission every 60,000 miles and change the oil every 4500 miles. So far, so good so I can't complain.

most reliable car owned

My car is 10 years old and this is the first year I have had to do more than maintenance care. It has been reliable, having never 'broken down' ever. The leather seats keep the interior looking like new all the time. It still has more get up and go than most cars on the road. I love it!

Altima 2009 best one so far

The one is my first buy all may others were leases. I like the way it handles. The only thing I do not like is that some of the finish on the hood top and rear trunk is no longer shine it is brushed.

Fun to drive

I've owned the Altima Coupe for 8 years. It will definitely get up and go! In my opinion, the cvt is a major plus for this engine. It stops and goes on a dime. I've loved this car. The front is very roomy and comfortable. I've had no mechanical issues so far at 156,000 miles. It's black and recently the paint has started to fade on the hood....also the door handles and window trim have more wear than I'd like but not terrible. The seats are a great, strong material that resist spills and stains well. A couple of things I don't like.....leaves and junk pile up under the wipers and in a few gaps between the body and trunk lid.....requiring a broom or pressure washer to get them out. This car also has a dash that some states have begun class action lawsuits over. The dash is so sticky that if anything (paper, plastic, etc.) touches it it's stuck there for good. I got a customized dash mat and didn't even have to use anything to keep it on since it was already sticky. Other than that this car is a dream. If they still made the coupe I'd probably buy it again.

Transmision replaced twice under extended warranty

I usually keep my cars till they are dead. This vehicle I bought the extended warranty. Transmission taken apart and replaced under the main factory warranty. Once replaced under the extended warranty. But still driving, 130k miles. Body is doing good so far.

Great car!

I have owned this car for 9 years and have not had any problems mechanically with the car. It has plenty of leg room in the front. The drive is nice. It is not a very sporty drive, but it gets the job done when you need it to. I get about 24 mpg combined. I would definitely recommend this car to someone looking for a used car. It has a great design and the interior is nice.
