1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse consumer reviews

I bought a 1995 rs. One owner from a lady. She kept a detailed list of what was done mechanically to this car. It was a long list. It had 150,000 miles on it. I was thinking since all this stuff had been fixed I might not have any problems for awhile. The low oil light came on so I filled it to maximum and the light stay's off. I hate idiot lights and gauges should be used. Then the catalytic converter not functioning right check engine light came on. I used cat cleaner in the gas and was able to clear the light. Not many miles later it happened again. Repeated cat clean and cleared the light. Then it happened again and again. I decided to remove the cat but couldn't get 2 of the bolts out so I cut it out and replace it with pipe. Got that done and the battery light came on. My tester says it's the alternator. Have one coming to replace it. Since I bought it the headliner is falling down. The clear coat is fading. This car has one coat of paint and one coat of clear coat. The manual seat knobs are breaking. I have a 98 jeep classic. It has all gauges and power everything and things work. It makes Mitsubishi look like a dog. I rate this car a One out of five. Don't buy them.

I think the eclipse GST is a great platform for a fast car. The car drove very well and the handling was excellent. These cars are cheap to build and it pays off wonderfully.

What more can you ask for. 4 wheel drive, 210hp, Turbo charged! The call handles nicely. Interior is nice. Drive seat cant be adjusted in a few nice ways. Sun roofs is a nice feature. Power driver seat. I've had my 1995 GSX for a year now and I've loved every minute of her!.
