Explore the 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis

I have a 2005 Grand Marquis LS, and this care is awesome!

I have a 2005 Grand Marquis LS, and this care is awesome! I did modify it slightly with a K&N cold air induction and custom made dual stainless steel exhaust. The car is so great for cruising because it is like sitting in your living room on the couch.

How many miles can a Grand Marquis go

Came here because I saw a question "How many miles can a "00s" Mercury Grand Marquis LS Palm Beach edition go? Someday I'll let you know. I still drive my 07 and She's well over 400,000. Take care of one and they will last forever.

Speed Boat

What can I say that hasn’t been said for the last 17 years? Yes it’s a heavy gigantic boat, but driving it feels like you’re in a lay-z-boy on a cloud. As a mechanic I couldn’t recommend a more reliable and easy to work on vehicle! Cup holders do suck tho, made of cheap plastic and tiny springs. But all around a great car

The Last of the Mohicans

The dying breed of the body-on-frame cars. Very smooth ride, great on long distances. I did many trips to Atlanta, Toronto, NYC and has no issues, my annual mileage is about 40K. Currently, she has 140K and I had no major repairs, just a regular maintenance. The only ergonomic complain is that awful console with 2 cup holders.

A good car, but a boring one.

The car is good, but that's it. It's a very bland car. Even with the V8, the car is quite heavy and doesn't have much of a community behind it. The interior is basic, and the seats aren't very comfortable. The car does have a very large trunk, however. I could fit at least fit 4 spare tires in it if I really wanted to. But it's not really good for even a commuter car, because the engine sucks up gas. Honestly, unless you're getting this for free or very cheap, I would go with a Honda.

Old reliable

Say what you will about these old full size American cars being outdated ect but everyone who rides in always marvels how well it rides. It has plenty of luggage room It's hard to believe how much car you get for the money! You won't find a better more reliable car period! They will go 200,000 miles easily . I bought a regular GS model with cloth interior and added a stock police dual exhaust to increase the power a little of the standard single setup. Car gets great highway mileage (27mpg) and about 16 city, no worse than a full size pickup/suv The 03 -11 models are still plentiful for a steal!
