Great Short Range Electric Car

Excellent quality of parts, construction and workmanship. Comfortable and quiet on longer rides. Will truly go 85 miles on a single charge. Excellent if you are 35 miles or less from work.

A true Benzla

It’s actually a great car especially for a metro area of If you commute 40 less miles a day. It runs off a TESLA 36kWh battery pack & a TESLA motor. Only 33kWh are useable with the Extended Range Charge option allowing 110-120 miles of range depend on the mode selected to drive in. Without this option (which is not recommended to be used regularly only 28kWh of the battery are used. In my personal experience Sport is 81 miles, Eco (normal) is 91 and Eco+ (tempered acceleration and top speed) will get you 99 miles. What’s unique about it is it uses a distance sensor in “D Auto“ to control the regen in traffic so you are getting the most out of your commute and recuperating lost energy. If you prefer more aggressive regen “D -“ captures the most almost making the B250e a one pedal driving experience. (almost as you’ll need to use the brake to finish the last 8% Of braking) If you’re feeling like rocking in fossil fuel you can use the xxxx pedal on the RT of the steering wheel for “D +” using little to know regenerative brake feel and only recouping lost energy when you press the brake to come take a stop with very little to no regen feel. While it’s not Tesla fast, it is quick for an equivalent Gasser. (7.5 seconds 0-60mph) the B Class is based off the CLA and GLA platform with more VW Golf like proportions and more cargo space than the GLA platform mate.
