Ive driven many vehicles but this one was so great i bought it, very easy to drive and puts a smile on my face everytime i get in it. It is an old car but its very easy to work on and do preventative maintenance. i am 5’10 and the interior fits me perfectly but for my 6’ and up folks out there there are lower profile seat brackets/seats and removable steering wheel options plentiful.

The first generation Mazda Miata is an amazing car, but you have to know what you're getting into. This is a car specifically made to be fun and engaging to drive. The steering is direct, the gearbox is just effortlessly smooth, the clutch is light and forgiving. It certainly is a joyous affair, but it comes with some side effects: lots of NVH, opposite-of-luxurious ride quality, cramped interior. Still, those pluses are hard to argue, and, say--have I mentioned these things are pretty easy on gas? Also, consider this: the engineering matches the interior in that it's spartan, simple, utilitarian, user-friendly, not fancy, not fussy. This car is easy to maintain, and (at least partially) because it's easy to maintain, it's very reliable. There's a lot to like, just be ready to feel the road.

Of course there are more spacious and comfortable and roomy cars that you can drive but in terms of pure enjoyment, nothing beats the miata.

Ask anyone who has owned. These little two-seaters are the least expensive, fun-to-drive units maybe ever! Can usually get them bused for a song...or used to be able to. Reliable? Pffft, you ain't had a car so reliable. Cute...xxxx, you don't think so? ...well you're sick! However if you do own long enough, your ragtop will actually rot to crap. And you'll likely want to replace. A days labor for you if you're handy. And don't forget the ol' timing belt at around a 100,000 rounds.

It's not quite as good looking as a Ferrari Testarossa or as fast. But it is a good looking car and it will out handle most any car on the road in stock form. With a little imagination they can look amazing and with a nominal investment there are turbo kits that can increase the power to levels that most people couldn't handle. It is a well built genuine sports car that is affordable, economical, and easy to maintain. More fun than you will think if you don't know already. By the way I'm 6'2 and over 210lbs. and I fit in it fine.

Very fun and reliable car. It is essentially a street legal go kart. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for an affordable sports car.

this car has been a joy to own, the vehicle is bullet proof never had a mechanical failure. it handles great and looks great. many sources of parts and accessories are still available. not bad for a 26 year old car.

car was purchased in1993 . i am 2nd owner. always garaged. carefully maintained. never in an accident . no mechanical problems that required repair.

I love this car and plan on keeping it as long as I live. I really enjoy driving it, it is comfortable, dependable and I love showing it off. Nobody can believe the age of this beauty.

car is in cherry condition. selling because i purchased 2017 miata gt rf. can't devote the time to both cars that they deserve. someone else could have a lot of fun with this car. iv'e spent a lot of time and money making this car a better performer .
