Excellent power for the money

I owned my Speed3 for over 3 years. It was a lot of fun to drive. The power/value is almost unmatched. When compared to the GTI and Focus ST, I felt the Speed3 was superior to them. The interior had many features not included in most cars of that year and class.

Very fast and cheap car

For the price of the vehicle it's very fast , although it's a bit pricy to own one because it takes only premium gas it's still a fun little power house

Fast and reliable car

This car is awesome! I drive it every single day and every time I drive it I fall in love again. Really fast care especially if you add some mods, and very reliable. Would recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful Car!

My fiance currently drives this car and it's one of the best cars I've ever driven! I would recommend a Mazda to anyone looking for a new car!

Always needed something

A blast to drive, a head turner, a heck of a commuter, but horrendously unreliable. In 10,000 miles, it needed almost $4800 worth of work. Sensors always going bad, overboost issues, etc.

Fast and fun.

I'm a big gear head so performance was key in looking for a car and this car definitely exceeded my standards. It's fast yet it's practical being a 4 door hatch with a surprising amount of room in it and great technology. 10/10 would recommend.

Best car I've owned.

This car has a soul. I enjoyed every mile I drove. Some mods made it a 320hp light and nimble toy on the road. And not a single issue in 4 years of ownership.

Best Performance For Your Money

I would more accurately give this car a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Overall, this car has been extremely reliable over the year that I've owned it. I've owned the Mazdaspeed Protege, Mazdaspeed6, and the Mazdaspeed3 and the MS3 is by far the best one yet. The hatch gives that extra amount of cargo room without having to sacrifice back seat space, comes with a Bose surround sound system with 8in bass, and a k04 turbo that pushes out 274hp completely stock. This is not a hard car to modify and have fun with and with a proper tune you will easily see over 300hp. In my opinion, you won't find a better bang for your buck when it comes to imports. The only quarrel I have is the "polka dot" like interior design and Mazda's poorly manufactured motor mounts.
