happy owner

I bought this car used with 14k had it for around 10 years and 100k+ miles. Probably the most reliable car I've owned. Other cars I've owned are not bad either BMW 318, 1series, for mustang. But when it comes to the longest this one is very impressive. Mazda did something really good with these cars. No wonder they stopped making them.

happy owner - I do my own oil and spark plugs.

So reliable, had it for 100k+ and 10yr+ if you are thinking of getting one of these used I think you are looking in the right place. Also really strong 4 cylinder engine. I've looked under the hood I changed my own spark plugs. I am a bit mechanical I think this is a really well engineered car. I've worked on BMW engines.

Most fun I have had in a crossover.

The mazda cx-7 has great build quality and drives better than its competitors from Buick, BMW, Honda etc. Sharp handling, responsive turbo, great sound system, excellent ergonomics. Great value for the money.

Good while it lasted

Cas was purchased brand new and ran very well, it was very quick as I had the cx7 turbo mode handled the snow as a joke as it cruised along with ease only problem I had was the car died out on me at 159XXX miles .

Original owner 150k miles

I am the first and only owner of a 2007 cx7. Currently vehicle has 150k miles on it. Throughout my ownership just regular maintainence. Recently I have replaced turbo, shocks, various valves and pumps within the last 2 years. Many people don't realize what they get involved in when purchasing a car. It's very obvious that a turbocharged car is going to have more maintence vs a non turbo. Just keep up with regular maintainence and the vehicle will pay you back with reliability.

Turbo doesn't feel turbo

Barely any pickup and a known issue caused the car to shutdown in the middle of highway driving a few years back due to oil issue. Mazda covered it and replaced engine. Still the turbo and premium gas required not worth it! Maybe they improved them in later years...

The best I ever had

Right down to were it save my wife life, one quarter of an inch from death from a side impact from a Cherokee Jeep. 2 door open like a can of tuna and the car still start an run the engine like nothing happen, yes the car is total. But If I had to do it all again, I say a tank or this car, against idiots that "slip there foot" in an up hill with red light against traffic . Drive safe, buy Mazda.

Great first car

I love mine,I couldn't ask for a more reliable and beautiful vehicle!.it was love at first sight. The way I see it it's how you take care of your vehicle to get the most out of it.remember every vehicle has its problems ,things break and need to be replaced, its life!. If vehicles were meant to not break they would probably be very expensive, none of us would be able to afford it.

Ride of your life

Wheres the button for zero stars!.....Alright, alright, alright! Who's ready for the ride of their life? Where to begin? I bought this car, brand spanking new, in April 2007,the cx7 model, with 11 miles on it. This car I was told by police, it is a magnet for other cars! I was rear ended 3 times..how does that happen? Hold on there's more..When you take off..wait for it ...wait for it.. Bamm! You get the surprise of your life. At times, you would think your dragging a chain, but no. your not surprise! Told, there's nothing wrong with your turbo, it is normal. Not only did the car took me for a ride it took my wallet for a ride! After many engine fails, oil leaks, tires expiring too soon, windows went out too son, the best thing was about this car was that it was finally totaled and I get money back! Wont EVER buy Mazda again. Who's in?
