2018 Lincoln Continental consumer reviews

I have not owned a domestic car since 1986. I've owned mostly Mercedes and Jaguars for the past 35 years. The Continental compares very favorably to the Jaguar XJ-L and Mercedes Benz E-Class. I needed a 4-door sedan that could be serviced near my home which left mostly domestic (GM / Ford / Chrysler) brands to choose from. I relocated to an area about 85 miles outside a major metropolitan area and didn't enjoy the 1.5 hour drive to and from my servicing dealers (Mercedes and Jaguar) after a decade of doing so. I'm not a fan of Chrysler styling so I test drove a Cadillac and the Lincoln Continental. After comparing both cars, In 2022 we chose a 2018 Lincoln Certified PreOwned Continental Reserve AWD with the 2.7 twin-turbo under 20K miles. This car was a special-order with most every available option offered. The build quality is on par with Cadillac, Jaguar and other makes that I've owned. Comparing the Infotainment/technology to both Mercedes and Jaguar, the Lincoln tech is so much easier to set up, navigate and use. Engine response and performance is excellent! Interior leather and trim is top-notch with the 72-thousand position front seats, revel sound system, back seat package, technology package and other features. I absolutely love the exterior styling of the car...it looks expensive and feels expensive. The original msrp of my car was just under $70,000 when new...so perhaps it simply was expensive!

Exquisite automobile all around. Only reason for 4 on performance is its a bit lazy. Simple performance tune makes it a 5. It's a definite good buy.

Unparalleled luxury and the best American made sedan! The quality of the materials and the interior craftsmanship is first rate. The ride and handling are awesome. More people should check out the Lincoln Continental.

It is what I expected minus a few features. I was disappointed that it didn't come with a a picture of the new car sticker.

This is a great vehicle. I purchased a 2018 Lincoln Continental Reserve and am extremely happy with my purchase. I've owned several luxury cars and would rate this among my top choices. The interior is well equipped and amazingly comfortable. There's a bit more road noise than I'd like but the ride and comfort make up for it. It's also very stylish and I constantly receive compliments on it. I would definitely recommend this vehicle for anyone interested in a larger 4 door sedan.

this is the most elegant car I have owned. the seats sold me as well as the v6 power with the twin turbo. great craftsmanship for the price. so many brag up foreign cars but this car is as good or better than any foreign car.

This is my 5th Lincoln. Spoiled by smooth ride and exceptional features. Continental is luxurious. Expecting a great couple of years. You should try the Lincoln experience.

Great family car, fits 5 comfortably. Gas mileage low average in city. Great comfort and better mileage on road trips. Handles very well even in winter conditions.

One of the best driving experiences I have ever had. Love the roominess of the vehicle and how smooth it handles. All the bells and whistles I could dream of in a luxury vehicle.
