2002 Lexus LS 430 consumer reviews

BROUGHT MY 2001 MODEL OF THE LS 430 in 2010 with 100k...drove for over 13 years. I do my own oil change for the last 10 years...use regular oil don't use synthetic...for it will leak more. Also, I have been using regular gas for the last 12 years...milage is still great (20 local, 25 on hwy)...never change timing belt yet....starter die on 2012 ($600, parts and labor)...right now I just reach 450,000 miles....hoping to make it to 1/2 million mark....will buy another one once my die.

I was able to stumble upon this 2002, original owner, garage kept, south Florida Lexus w 120k miles that looks and drives as it did when it drove off the dealers lot in 2002.

Very reliable vehicle I currently have 165,000 miles on bought it recently great car change the oil and take care of the car very simple will run to 400,000 miles

Picked up this car with 115,000 miles on it 3 years ago. I'm now just under 200K with zero major issues besides regular wear & tear things (Brakes, struts, tires, ect) & a few little electronic sensors that I fixed myself in 15min. This is by far the most comfortable car I've ever driven or ridden in and it's not even close. The quarter panel is starting to rust a little unfortunately, but that's to be expected with a car this old driven in MN winters. A few of the electronic things like power mirrors and windows are also a little weak now, but this car is nearing 20 years old. I sure wish I knew you could only use premium gas before I bought it though.. although this isn't a huge problem, it adds up. RWD and the sheer length of this car also makes it a little hard to drive in the snow, but it works. Plenty of power from the V8 and everything still runs silky smooth. Keep in mind that this is still a Lexus.. parts can be expensive (1 headlight is over $100 for example). Some Lexus models are interchangeable with parts via their toyota counterparts, not really the case with this car.. With is being a toyota at it's heart, work on it yourself! If you're looking for reliable old school luxury, look no further!

I am loving this beast, real pleasure to drive with confort and reliability. Classic shape and amazing advance options that reallly matters when you hit the road.

I have driven pre-owned Lexus vehicles for 15yrs now. ES, RX, LS.....it doesn't matter which model, they are all well above average in quality and performance. The LS 430 has the nicest and most comfortable ride of any sedan I have owned.

This care feels like you’re driving on a cloud and is perfect for road trips with the amount of space. Super reliable, never had any issues with it.

This car is comfortable, has plenty of power and extremely smooth riding, demanded for long trips. It's such I nice car that I bought a newer version and will give this one to my daughter for her 40th birthday gift. One note, in my mind these are best purchased pre-owned due to depreciation. I've enjoyed this one for 15 years and it rides as well as it did new. Extremely low maintenance.

This car has never given me any issues I have only had to put an alternator in it I love this car I need an suv now
